    Sell it. You don’t deserve it, yet. You can buy it back, when nobody wants it for cheap and then keep it until it appreciates its value again, once people realize how good it actually way. But by the time, will collecting bikes still be a thing? Not so sure.
    A House is a reason, but it’s just click-bait if you play it as a motorcycle question, as you did, wasting people’s time with your personal stuff until being open that it’s a life question, not a bike theme.

      Well, it's personal indeed but its also a Z900RS vs Mandello video. And I want to keep a personal touch on my channel. I do have many non personal video's also on my channel. Thanks for our reply.

    I had a KZ900 which I sold in the late 70's, never regretted it, I sold my harley in the early eighties to repair the roof on my house, never regretted it, I sold my Eldorado in the late 80's and have regretted it ever since

    You should put 98 octane for this high compression engine 😉 I had a Z900 before my Mandello, and I soooo much prefer the Mandello. Actually, I don’t like the 4 cylinders engine, you need to go too high rpm to get the kick, not very practical in the traffic nowadays. Think twice 😉😀

      @droommotor  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I do think that the Z900RS has a lot of torque, and also pretty down low. btw. 95 is really good quality here in The Netherlands (I know I worked for a big oil company).

    You say u have owned and sold 3 900's, and now u think about buying a 4th? why would this time be different? the guzzi is a much more unique/special bike. To me it doesnt make sense but then again, we humans rarely do so.. :)

    Keep the special bikes. Sell the common/appliance/typical brand bikes. You won't miss the other bikes as much over time but I'm guessing you'd miss the v100 more in the long run.

    Interesting, I have the Z900RS and a Multistrada 1260s. The Z is an amazing bike but I am contemplating selling it after owning it for 5 years as I feel it doesn’t have enough character. Don’t know how to measure character but maybe it is just too smooth. I’ve had the Multi for 1 year now and just love the v twin engine to the point it makes the Z feel boring but the Z is perfect in every other way. I think I am even more confused than you 😂

    Keep the guzzi. I have two of them (V7 Classic and V7iii Milano). The Milano is superior to my Classic in every way possible. Power, handling, safety features, etc…but I can’t let go of the classic. There’s something special about it that has its own feeling that the Milano can’t replicate, or any other bike can replicate, to be honest. All Guzzi are this way. The v100 you have has its own feeling and no other bike will fill its place. Yamahondasaki motorcycles are great, but they certainly are sterile and don’t have the same FEEL as a Guzzi. Don’t sell it, you’ll regret it for sure.

    You already sold th z900 3 times. Did you have as much doubt as you are having now? About the process itself you are trading time for money. If you put this one on the market you will get a better payoff, but it will take more time. Z900RS are a dime a dozen on second hand market, maybe even you can get the SE. Also, about the z900rs, you are already thinking of changing mirrors, tailtidy, blinkers, etc. How much money would you spend on that?
    Finally just to say, these are exactly both my two motorcycles of choice, if I had a fat wallet.
    Either way, you can't go wrong. they are both perfect.

      I have to say, we have a lot of options here in The Netherlands regarding used V100. They don't sell as fast as the Z900RS. I have a lot of accessories on the V100 which I could sell to make some funds for the accessories I ''need'' for the Z900RS

    Als geld het ding is voor het nieuwe huis, is verkopen motorfiets de beste optie, toch. Blijkt het gunstiger uit te vallen (haha verbouwen valt altijd tegen, kost altijd meer) kan je altijd een bezoek aan de Guzzi dealer brengen. Veel succes met de verbouwing.

    • @droommotor
      @droommotor  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah, but it is the hard truth. The thing is with a renovation like this it's not always clear what things will cost during the project. So I need to make some money clear for if it's needed. 5k is hopefully enough. I know, that when I use all the money of the bike and put that in a renovation it will take years for something comparable comes back. That's why I ''need'' something in return (like the Z900RS)
