Loving these accordion journals! I have some old papers from my parents I can't bear to part with, but this is a good way to incorporate them into a journal. Thank you for the inspiration!
You are definitely the queen of patchwork paper. I love how you incorporated the velum and the envelope. I learnt the accordion journal from your July one and it's my favourite way to journal of all the ones I've tried as it expands without getting that crocodile effect. You've made me want to make another one now lol. Beautiful Meg x
Awh thank you!!
This is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen 🥺 I know I say it every time but the color pallet of your papers is CHEFS KISS.
Awh thank you!
Ohh,what a great fun🙂thank you! Still procrastinating about Christmas 🤷🏻♀️🤗
Thanks for watching!
I am doing DD. It's the only one that I use a binder for. But, to make a mini version of the accordian booklet you have here would be great to add. Also, to extend a page when more inspiration hits, or there are extra pictures will be so fun! Your book is cute! I want to watch it get more "Christmassy!" Hugs!
Awh that’s sounds wonderful!
This is an amazing journal, i wantcto really give it a try! Thank you so much for sharing! Love and hugs, new subscriber from Switzerland, monique❤
Great idea!
I do love watching these according style journals you make. ThankU.☺️
Thanks for watching!!
Meg, olive the way you can work so well with the little bits! I love your journal and can’t wait to watch you decorating it! Thank you so much for sharing! Have a nice week!
It is gorgeous ❤ love the papers and need to go watch ur video on that vellum washi tape….
Wow! That as awesome to watch you "throw paper together" with abandonment. What an excellent way to use up your scraps too. Thank you for showing this.❤
Thanks for watching ☺️
You piece things together so beautifully 👏❤️
So excited for another accordeon journal video! They are the most fun!
💃🏻
Loved this, thanks
Thanks!
Loved this journal!! Thank you
Thank you!!!
I love these journals. I just worked in mine today. I tend to make a very small Christmas journal for memory keeping. I honestly don’t make it until I start having things I want to document 😅 Last year I bound all the Christmas cards I got together and that was kinda cool. I may do that again this year.
Such a great idea (binding the cards you’ve received).
Have you ever seen Jennie Belly’s video on making a journal from received cards (in general, not just Christmas cards)?
It’s pretty cool in that it’s a way to preserve them, together (other than in a box in the basement, lol) vs most use of the greeting cards vids has us covering them up. (It’s in an older vid - and it’s just something she mentions- but memorable enough) 👍🏼😎
Thank you, that’s a great idea!
I love JennieBellies videos!!🥰
I made one for july, but I couldn't take part in the challenge. I ended up using it later. I was asked to make one for Christmas and having you using it for the same purpose, is great, so I can be inspired again by you. Thanks for sharing!
Yay! There’s also Junk Journal January coming up soon too ☺️
I love these- just made a fall one-
I’ve a larger 3-in-1 altered book going for Christmas- I’m planning to make it my annual Christmas book that I’ll add to every year- I can make a smaller version of this to tuck into it-🎄🤗😎
Yay!! ✨✨
I loved seeing this come together! I might try making one for my DD too! 💜💜
Thank you!!
Love this I’m going to give this a try tfs
Thank you!!
Oooooh, I was just going to start pulling papers for my DD Christmas book today so I’m so incredibly happy that you posted this today. Your book is gorgeous - so many great ideas! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration!
One more thing… I love how your base is subtly Christmassy. Last year I made my base with too much holiday spirit and that made it difficult to add some of my holiday bits and bobs without being too over the top or clashy.
@@Maggie_R great point!! I’m just starting an altered book for Christmas, I’ll certainly keep this in mind “it’s just the base. It’s just the base. It’s just the base” (it’s SO easy to get carried away with the fun bits right away, lol) 👍🏼😎
Thank you!!!
Hahah yes plenty of time to add the Christmas bits ☺️
first!! im a rlly big fan and i love this!! i would def try to make this soon whenever i have time
Yay thank you!
I love, love this! A bit concerned I won't get the pages, folds going the right way!🙄
Thank you! It’s all practice!
I’ve not seen a book put together like this before but I love the patchwork element to it! I’m curious to know how many pages do you think would be a maximum in a journal like this? Thanks for showing us, it’s turned out beautifully xxx💕
Thank you!! It’s all a bit of trial and error really - you can use a ribbon or string to keep it together but it may start to look like the leaning tower of Pisa with too many pages lol
@@megjournals I think I might try 16 which would give a months worth of journal space, worth a try if it tumbles over I’ll try less xxx💕
This is so fun. I think I'll make one as well. Perhaps with my granddaughter. We can DD together ☺️
That sounds great!!!🥰
Yummy
