Dylan is such a stydia shipper.
I really love the part where Dylan was talking about how Stiles was comfortable loving Lydia from a distance and that a relationship needs to be two sided. One of my favourite parts about Stydia is that she is never pressured or manipulated into falling in love with Stiles, she just genuinely does as they spend time together. And Stiles remains the good guy throughout as, for all that he does for Lydia, he never expects anything back.

That kind of love can also be incredibly toxic, because of the fact that the guy (Stiles) isn't able to move on, even after several years, as his whole world seems to revolve around someone who doesn't love him. He isn't able to get on with his life or to actually start relationships with other women who actually loves him back. You're right that he keeps giving without expecting to get anything back, and the sad part is that he doesn't get anything back for years, which isn't right. If Stiles moved on and dated other women who actually appreciated him in the same way, then he would also have someone do things for him, instead of it constantly being a one-way street where he gives and gives without ever getting anything back.
This is what is commonly referred to as being "strung along" or "friendzone". It's not a healthy situation for a guy or anyone else to be in.
@@GmodGTX no. Lydia never strung him along. Not at all. She knew how she felt in 3x11 but he has already moved on with the other girl. She spent 4 episodes and then told him she was done dating teenage boys. She never led him on. She also was there for him, all the time.
GmodGTX It is a healthy relationship one that I want to have to have a relationship you need friendship learn to trust and depend on each other be there for one another Lydia needs time to love stiles That’s how a relationship needs to grow Stiles didn’t pressure her force her He knows Lydia feelings for him had to grow genuinely not like she HAS to that’s why it’s the healthiest relationship on the show And it shows how much a person can love someone it shows how he genuinely has feelings for her it doesn’t just go away when he said he lived her he actually LOVED her
exactly... it just eventually happened as their relationship / friendship deepens so is their feelings for each other.... i love that theyre both Stydia shippers themselves.

stydia forever. like Holland said " an orangic friendship needs to build first before a relationship begins" I believe that stiles and lydia has been building on that friendship. I do see a Ross and Rachel. I like how they have come together in the series. they are a awesome duo together. I believe stydia will happen in season 6. Their kiss in season 3 was amazing to me because I liked how the kiss was long and thought out. they had their eyes closed afterwards savoring the moment. they are adorable and amazing.they always stay alive when they are together.
