I'm just like your Dad I love to eat them like an apple with salt! Also only from our garden tomatoes are the best! When they are in season here in Pa. which won't be ready to pick until July! But I can eat them in a sandwich with mayo, onions, and s&p everyday!!❤🍅

I absolutely love tomatoes!! Raw, cooked, fried, makes no difference, I LOVE THEM! I love to slice tomatoes with a slathering of mayo and salt combined with some cheddar cheese and saltine crackers and that's a meal. I love just plain tomato and mayo sandwiches with potato chips. I love BLTs! I love homemade tomato soup with cornbread! Fried green tomatoes, nothing better. Give me a tomato and I'll make a meal!! YUM!!!

My favorite tomato is the Cherokee purple..I cut it up in chunks, put zesty Italian dressing on them, refrigerate and eat em cold

Good Morning Buddy and Stephanie ❤ I'm like you Stephanie, I don't mind them on a burger or blt, but not just by themselves. I also like fresh tomatoes on a vegetarian pizza. After the pizza comes out of the oven you dice the tomatoes and sprinkle them on top. Also regarding the longer videos, I actually don't mind them. Thanks for bringing us along for the taste test!

Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes- eat like grapes right off the plant, very few make them in the house.
Larger tomatoes - eat like apples with salt, or BLT, or cut top off and sprinkle w parmesan cheese and bake in toaster oven in small bowl.

Love raw ripe tomatoes. Love a Tomato sandwich. Bread, Mayo, sliced tomato with a little salt 😋 like my bacon the side.
I grew Merritt, Better Boy, Celebrity and the Fruit Punch heirloom salad tomatoes this year they are so good. I’m in NW Alabama so zone 7 mine are about the size of golf balls and still green. I just picked my first yellow straight neck squash this morning. Picked a handful of Kentucky Wonder green beans yesterday.
Tomatoes with cucumbers & onions marinated in oil & vinegar with garlic & pepper is delicious.

One of the best tomatoes in the summer in Maryland is the Beefsteak Tomatoe which we just slice and put on white bread with mayo and salt and pepper. Best sandwich in summer. I like a White Pizza with sliced tomatoe as a topping also
They remind me of the Super Sweet 100 Cherry tomatoes. Sweet 100 tomato plants produce red cherry tomatoes on indeterminate vining plants that may grow 4-8 feet (1.2 to 2.4 m.) tall. These vines produce high yields of fruit from early summer right up to frost. The high yields are indicated by the “100” in their name. However, this does not mean that the whole plant itself will only produce about 100 fruit. Instead, just one cluster of fruit on the plant can produce up to 100 cherry tomatoes, and the plant can produce many of these tomato clusters.

I’m with you Steph I’ll eat BLT, Tomato on burger ( most of time I pick it off ) never in a salad I make , but will eat if serve at friends / family home …. Louisiana has a Creole and it is really popular here in Louisiana. Love knowing this video to know the difference in the tomatoes. But I love two slices fresh bread, little mayo, fried egg and slices, slices of fresh summer tomatoes. Yummy. And I haven’t had one yet this summer.

My favorite way to eat a fresh garden tomato is sliced, salted and on a warm homemade biscuit.
Number one: I love LONG videos that have good content. Check! Number two: I love tomatoes! I love yellow, orange, Beefstake and, of course, I love fried green tomatoes! I have found grape size heritage tomatoes, in the grocery and I think the dark ones taste SO good!! I like (and need) lower acid tomatoes.

When I was little, I learn to eat fresh tomatoes off the plant with sugar on them. My mom taught me that she would catch me in the garden with the sugar bowl eating tomatoes right off the plants. Since I am growing now 76 years old, I would eat tomatoes any way I can get them. I love eating tomatoes on bread with just mayonnaise and salt and pepper, I like bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwiches I like tomatoes with just salt on them tomatoes and a salad. I will eat tomatoes anyway you could throw it at me. Lol I love your video Stephanie you’re the best along with your husband.

Bruschetta, tomato with mozzarella and italian dressing, tomato with salt, BLT, salsa, tomato sandwich, tomatoes and cukes with italian dressing, in a fresh salad …basically all the ways! I love tomatoes!
Basil, fresh mozzarella, good olive oil, salt and pepper, and an aged balsamic vinegar drizzled over the top. Fresh tomatoes blistered in olive oil and garlic until they burst and then piled on top of some crusty bread...omg. i love tomatoes! One more, cook sausage, peppers, garlic, onion, chili flake, core tomatoes, and stuff like peppers. Top with parm, olive oil, and bread crumb topping. Bake until golden on top...i could go on forever! 🍅

Hello. Growing up we always had for dinner/supper, meat, some kind of starch like potatoes, rice or noodles. A vegetable. And we always had some kind of salad. Sometimes we would just have sliced cucumbers marinated in vinegar or Italian dressing. And a lot of the time we would just slice up tomatoes. Oh and I forgot always some sliced bread. Buddy and Stephanie you have the most beautiful garden. I am glad that you have your channel now and I always look forward to your videos. ❤️

What a mix of learning and humor in this video! I don't like tomatoes so I have nothing to offer 🍅 I will say Jami and Lester's ostriches love the cherry tomatoes they might eat up other types too. They love feasting from Jami's garden (with and without permission but I feel like they enjoy it more when they don't have permission lol) You and Buddy are so funny together. It was fun to watch the taste testing.

I love eating tomatoes!! Infact this year I planted one called, Get Stuffed from Hoss Tools. It has a thicker wall, scoop out the insides.....you can add chicken salad or tuna salad. You can also add taco meat and bake them like a pepper.
I also like BLT's, sliced up with pepper, cut up in salads or a good old sliced tomato on a slice of bread with mayonnaise!!

I live in the suburbs in the midwest and we do have produce market stores that sell many of those varieties, but not all. By far beefsteak, roma and cherry are the most popular. 🍅

The yellow or orange color one is an acid free tomato. They are really good I love mixing them when I make my homemade spaghetti sauce it really makes a difference.. I would love to try one of those black beauty they look good
