    I downloaded the app on my iPhone and I clicked the download video on the app. Where does it go to? It’s not in my photos

      Hi Sam,
      The downloaded file will be saved first inside the ROVE App.
      Once it is downloaded, connect your phone to the internet and go to ROVE's App downloaded folder.
      Click or press the share button and it will give you the option to save the file.
      Please click the Save option and the file will be saved to your iPhone's Photo Library.

    Does it save it on Cloud memory or on your SD card on Android phone? thanks

      Hi Go Explore,
      The ROVE R2-4K is NOT an IP dash cam and it saves all the recorded videos on the external micro SD card.
      The dash cam's WiFi feature allows you to pair or connect your dash cam to your smartphone to view, download, or share your videos using the ROVE App.
      The WiFi range from the ROVE dash camera is about 10 FT when there is no obstruction in the middle.
      In order for you to view your recordings from the camera on your smartphone using the ROVE APP, you will need to stay within that 10 FT WiFi range form the dash cam.
      Once you go outside of this 10FT radius, you will lose the WiFi signal and therefore you will NOT be able to stay paired or connected using the WiFi with our ROVE dash cam.

    You didn't explain how to take or make calls if in Rove WiFi

      Hi David,
      It is not necessary to always connect the R2-4K dash cam to your phone especially when you are driving.
      The camera can do its operation even if it is not connected to your phone via WiFi feature.
      The WiFi feature was designed to be used in case of an emergency or if you get into an accident. So while you are on the road, you can instantly turn ON the WiFi and access your videos from your dash by leveraging your smartphones, such as iPhone or Android. This way can show the videos of what happened right on the spot of an event site to the police officers to do their investigation before making their accident report.
      You can also use this feature to download your small video files to your phone while you are on vacation or a scenic drive; then, you can easily share your videos on social media or with your friends or family.

      I would like to take this opportunity to explain to you how the WiFi feature is designed to work.
      ROVE Dash Cam has a built-in WiFi feature that allows you to pair your smartphone (such as iPhone or Android) with the ROVE Dash Cam.
      Once you pair the camera with ROVE's WiFi network > Your phone and the ROVE dash cam is paired (just like a Bluetooth device pairing).
      The WiFi range from the ROVE dash camera is about 10 FT when there is no obstruction in the middle.
      In order for you to view your recordings from the camera on your smartphone using the ROVE APP, you will need to stay within that 10 FT WiFi range from the dash cam.
      Once you go outside of this 10FT radius, you will lose the WiFi signal and therefore you will NOT be able to stay paired or connected using the WiFi with our ROVE dash cam.
      Think of it like this: Just like when you are at home and your phone is connected to your home's WiFi, but when you go outside of your home's WiFi range then you will not stay connected with your home's wifi. Your phone will switch to the cellular towers to get the data. Therefore the same way we have designed the powerful ROVE dash cam to stay compact in size so it does NOT obstruct your car's windshield. Therefore it's WiFi router is very small in size inside the camera, hence the WiFi range is only 10-FT.
      The WiFi feature was designed to be used in case of an emergency or if you get into an accident.     Did all that. I have a note 10+. It connects to the wifi but not the phone.

      1. Uninstall the ROVE App
      2. Please go to the camera's SYSTEM SETTINGS and then set the camera for the DEFAULT SETTING.
      3. Now turn ON the WiFi from the camera > Then go to your Phone’s Settings > WiFi > look for ROVE wifi name > then touch the “i” button in blue all the way on the right side of the name. Now, once you touch the I button, you will get more options.
      4. Now, please select the FORGET THIS WiFi or REMOVE THIS NETWORK. Once you make the wifi forget, please close all your apps completely on your Phone, restart your phone and the dash camera.
      6. To reinstall the app, please access the link below.
      play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ntk.Rove&hl=en
      7. Turn Off the phone's Mobile Cellular data.
      8. Turn on the camera's WIFI
      9. Connect to the camera's WFI
      10. Open the App
