Honestly if they really wanna help Cell you need to give him a better way to deal with projectiles. Cell isnt bad, but all the really busted characters like Gogeta SSJ4 and LC21 have fully projectile immune "fuck neutral" buttons. Just make rolling crush immune to ki blasts or 2S immune to projectiles and Cell is top tier again no questions asked.
@@joncliffmckinley5868 no, like SSJ4 236H that solo confirms anywhere on the screen that's projectile and assists immune. Why? Well because Cell has this rising hit box that doesn't go fullscreen like the rest of them and grounded 214H doesn't solo confirm without meter or sparking. The I-frames are also not long enough to deal with a beam from a decent distance. Since the recovery is so long the beam is hitting you. Beyond that it still clashes EVEN THOUGH IT'S INVULNERABLE and therefore doesn't have a hitbox. It loses all clashes though cancelling into a second 214H is super strong now.

I'd rather have no one that has free neutral, but in an age where the best characters in the game have free neutral and great pressure and great oki and great combos, then everyone needs boosted. Cell's 5S is absolute ass trash and before this patch his 214H off the ground was possibly the worst anti-air in the game when he's alone. But if LC21 gets amazing grounded ki blasts, and angled fireballs, and the fastest beam in the game that jails into vanish, then Cell with his ass tier shoot-at-the-ground 5S can have an advancing move like rolling crush that reflects ki blasts. Guess what, it still doesn't solo pickup so it still isn't a great option but you at least get in which Cell has to do.
Kuwanger, honest opinion, do you think this game is done for sure this time? Because for me, it definitely is. After playing this game since 2019, knowing all the roster, and almost playing this at a professional level, I am done, this is no competitive fighting game no more, it's a game for all ages and no skill needed.
I think people will still play regardless of what the devs do because it’s still dragon ball, but yeah i don’t think people who play at the highest level will enjoy this patch, they might tho who knows
Personally I think Bandai has been killing the game for years now. But if they keep making bigger explosions and louder sounds it will keep our attention. All they really want is bigger numbers and more bullshit as seen in the fact that EVERY PATCH for the last like 5 versions has handed out random invulnerabilities and more routes to deal more damage even if it breaks the game. (Combo tag, level 3 cancel, special cancels, double big bang, etc.)

You need to perform the combo faster, if you take your time you will reach the hitstun decay limit faster

the air kamehameha after j2H is delayed, but that combo is harder and does less damage than what i posted in my lastest cell video

Cell's beam has always been a good enough way to deal with long range/projectiles. Catch your opponent landing with the beam, vanish and you're in.
