I don relly understand what he says but I do like him. He is funny, humorous n most importantly talented. It ain't easy to make people laugh, big UP👍. Love from Jalukie Town....
He’s really funny and I love it The way he speaks our Rongmei dialect Imao🤣 We should make him famous Keep on sharing Dear Zeme Liangmei Rongmei Brothers And Sisters 😁 Peace and love be with everyone 🙏🏼 Please keep on uploading his new videos PM/Owners 😁
Bro you know he's Zeme but he speak Rongmei because the Choir was Rongmei community on that function. And they don't understand Zeme dialect so he speak Rongmei as Impa-Nkang (Zeme) vallagers 99% understand Rongmei dialect. Am i clear? If you don't understand just say you don't understand, so that i'll make you understand. Understand?
Akua Ngame yes brother in Manipur we always go with the term Zeliangrong, even in southern most part of Tamenglong ,where No zeme are there but we always carry what our forefathers have taught us,which is to stay United ,For example in chandigarh there are no zeme or liangmei students or family over there ,but only Rongmei, still we go with the term Zeliangrong in every association, or even the name of the Church ,that's the reason i really feel bad whenever i travel to Nagaland and see how Zeliangrong brothers are treating each other
Kamei dun yes i knew and understand your point but at some points, we are forgetting our original zeme language,,, i said this because whoever i came across from manipur most people are fluent rongmei other than zeme,, anyway thank you for your sharing
If we are talking about the language, we dont the a common language or dialect where we can comunicate so in tamenglong the majority are Rongmei so we all speak rongmei to communicate, like in olden days ,people used to communicate through liangmei dialect as a sacred language, my grandfather knows how to speak zeme
Kamei dun what im saying is about zeme people always fond of Rongmei dialect (no offense) so like in conversation they find difficult in "zeme kua" though they are from zeme, i get your point you are right as well bdw thank you for the fact you have shared
Akua Ngame I really understand you bro. And I do encourage bilingual interaction among our zeliangrong community. In this case the chief case was from rongmei community that's it. You should have been in the program, there was more than 15 mins of zeme jokes.
We got your point, but apparently, this happened because of the social structure of a particular place and we cannot expect the same scenario everywhere. Considering the location of Impa-Nkang Village (the village where this video was shot) where it is settled in between Rongmei villages and the lone Zeme village in that range, the case is otherwise understandable. Afterall, the idea of Michel Foucault became relevant ever again. He entertained for some good minutes in Zeme which we didn't include in this clip, this video itself is incomplete. We cannot say that people in Manipur are obsessed with Rongmei dialect, the geographical settlement may be first considered for this answer and the population. It is more about adjusting to society. There are many Rongmei who speaks Zeme fluently. Zeme people from Manipur are working endlessly to introduce our literature in the school syllabus to preserve our dialect and this is likely to be completed by the next 1/2 years. Thanks!
He spoke both Rongmei and Zeme dialects because there were Rongmei as well as Zeme.
Please don't misunderstand.
