    Hi Rachel, I love your classroom! Your videos help to re-energize those of us who have been in the classroom a while. I've decided to change up my classroom a bit this year and was wondering if you have a template for the Reading Rainbow lyric for your reading corner.💕

      Thanks so much for the sweet comment! I don't have the lyrics available anywhere online, but send me an email at msrachelvincent@gmail.com and I'll send it to you.

    I love your videos. Where did you get the piece of furniture that holds your extra supplies for the kiddos? That’s a great idea.

      It is the Trofast system from Ikea. I was fortunate enough to get it from a teacher who left teaching.

    How does the group tally system work? They have fifteen tallies for hallway behavior... Are they working on earning anytjing?

    • @msrachelvincent
      @msrachelvincent  Před 13 dny

      So the group system is for mostly transitions and groups that are ready. They move up the gameboard and when they reach the top they get a water bottle sticker. The tallies for the hallway aren't always for the hallway. Each Friday during our class meeting, we discuss what's going well in our classroom and what needs improvement. Students vote on what they want our goal to be from our needs improvement list. They work toward extra recess or free time on Fridays.

    Can you share the table points resource when they go up the chart for points?

    Since you're in SC- do you use the myworld interactive book for social studies? I'm in SC and I'm struggling. I used to teach Sped/resource and need guidance in 4th grade😅 I do like your visuals. I'm always repeating directions.

      We don't really use the textbook. My teammate who plans social studies does a lot of integration with ELA, so we actually use a lot of books and passages from TPT to teach the standards.
