I think the problem stems from the issues with downmix from atmos to stereo. I heard that there is no limiter when mixing in atmos from one of the live stream of shadab rayeen(the mixing and mastrering engineer for all of thaman's songs). During this process I suspect that the mix while sounding good in hi fidelty atmos may sound great(as it did in the theaters without any distortion), the downmixed strereo has not been given the same care in delivering which again is compounded by the youtube's compression. This only started with his recent movies which worries me the most. I really hope that Thaman and his team rectify this issue ASAP for his upcoming projects.
