I have been using the Manticore for nearly a year now and have struggled to find the same volume of funds compared to the Nox 800. I have learned a lot from your channel and chatting to you in the field but I am concerned that All Terrain General is missing small low conductive targets. I set up a test bed and attempted to swing over a roman minim and cut quarter and the machine really struggled, even with an air test (23 sensitivity) I have factory reset it. Interestly I switched it over to All Terrain Low Conductors and I was hitting the minim and cut quarter at 8 inchers on the air test! I will try it out on Sunday. Hopefully my finds rate will come back up👍

It was a great dig, I had one of those military badge pips as well, an officers order of the bath pip. Also I had an Elizabeth I shilling, possibly counterfeit as it is flaking a bit .

that man with the brooch knows that people handing in treasure will not see it again and it will be stolen from them it been nearly 4 years for me on a hoard of over 300 roman coins and over ten brooches and lots of other artefacts and i have not heard a thing at all i will never hand in a thing again i would rather throw it back in the field and leave it there than a thief have it

Sid question on the Manticore, have you had on the 2d screen signals that zip through the screen almost like a snake from the iron at the top through the centre line to below towards lower ferrous? These I have gotten also have a longer drawn-out distorted sound hard to explain like a long ziiippppp sliding sound. If so, would you dig them?

Yeah I loved the 900, first few trips I was getting tricked by iron hut once you suss it all out and get it settled down I smashed the goodies out
