Part 2 would be pretty nice xD
Part 2, please and thank you! I really want to go all mad scientist and make myself a deluxe numpad!
Is part 2 still happening?
Yea wheres the part 2
Awesome!! its literally what i was looking for, can't wait for part 2
My friend your video was inspiring really. I would really hope for a part 2. Most importantly, I really really hope you are well.
Can't wait for part2!
Very helpful! Looking forward to part two
So cool dude. Your channel is definitely gonna blow up.
Awesome. I'm working on a stm32-based low profile keyboard with almost every add-ons it can handle (oled, rot-encoder, ws2812 led, external eeprom).
The aim is to get as slim as possible, with ks-27 switch for keycap compatibility, so the stab mounting will be weird. My propotype is on its way from jlcpcb. I'm planning to post devlog video on youtube and share what I learned
Now that is what a call a truly custom keyboard
That's a super cool project
part 2 will never come lol xD
sarcasm put aside, it was helpful and well thought out video- thanks a lot.
would love part two though 😅
how is this channel so underrated
Really good vid wish there was a part 2 tho T-T

Glade
Whaaat, Ive always to do this!
no part 2 :(
part 2
How to make irregular Enter key?
How do you drive many LEDs from a USB port? I have 92 SK6812 Mini-E LEDs on my keyboard, and currently I'm just trying to see if running them at low power is bright enough to fit within the limtis of a USB port.
I'm also thinking I can plug into a Thunderbolt 4 port for mor power, or maybe do something in the software to stagger the PWM so that only half of them are on at a time.
I just drive mine (123) at a low brightness setting. Modern LEDs are CRAZY bright. Keep in mind that most LED lightbulbs equivalent to a 60 Watt incandescent are only 4-5 watts. You can get up to 3A at ~5v from a USB Port, depending on where it comes from. Or you could use an external (isolated) power supply to provide auxiliary power, though you'll want to do your own investigation to avoid damaging anything from backfed power.

Are you planning a part 2 ?
We have sections of a part 2 filmed and edited, though we got busy with the custom ASIC video we just posted.
