Cinema 4D Tutorial: "Fluid Simulation" with No Plugins

- I have a fun tutorial today. I'll show you how to create a fake fluid simulation with NO PLUGINS. That means no Realflow, X-Particles etc. We're going to cover a lot in order to achieve a dripping ice cream effect. We'll cover soft body dynamics, the volume builder and mesher, the Voronoi Fracture and soft body caching, plus the new Fields System. Enjoy!
Btw, the render in the preview was created with Scene 05: Dramatic Studio from our Octane Lighting Essentials which you can check out here: www.thepixellab.net/c4d-octan...

This is excellent. Thank you for your pace, knowledge and lack of music.
Woooow! Excellent, man! Thanks and congrat's!!
Great tutorial! It makes one think of the volume builder in a very unique way. Thanks for the time and effort in giving us these valuable tutorials and expanding our c4d knowledge.
Thanks Eddie, much appreciated!
that really means a lot for me
This is Amazing Love the technique
Thank you for the nice tutorial
YES!! and with no plugins. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
For people using R23: Reshape layer changed to "SDF Dilate and Erode" you can find this if you hold down the SDF Smooth button.
thank you very much kind person
wow!! this is so amazing
SIMPLY THE BEST..thank you man for your time and effort!!! more tutorials like this soon, please ...BRAVOOOOO!!!!
Thanks man!
Thanks so much for your words
Very good tutorial,, many thanks
ya lo hice y quedo muy bonito, gracias!
Really cool. Thank you
thanks, man you saved me XD my client needed a pouring sauce and i couldn't find a any good stock footage
you are always the best
Thanks! :)
very cool technique to create fluids without plugins, thanks. The only prob is that the scene gets quite heavy on the render, even if baked I cannot preview the animation in real time
EXCELLENT! Thank you
Amazing . Thanks
Great, thanks man, for your sharing.
No problem, glad it helped you!
WAW, NICE WAY TO FAKE A SIMULATION , thnx its very UsfuL :D
Good tutorial
good tutorial
good one
Great tutorial.. I wish baking was faster in c4d. I believe it is a single threaded calculation.
you are the best
I love you, THANKS
I love you tooo!!
Wow!
I have no option for reshape layer how to find it?
Hey thank u for ur tutorial but I have the r25 and most of the soft body editing I don’t have it 😢 , is there a solution.?
is there a way to do the same thing but then with a sea and boat?
If someone has problems with simulating this stuff in the volume builder, put a connector on top of the loft.
Thnk, bro!
__.__
how did import the bar and stick
ever tryed to use metaball ?
Tried following this on R23 and it´s just not working as intended. Applying Soft Body to the Loft completely screws up the shape first and the volume builder reshape function is not there anymore
Really thete is no volume Builder Reshape function!
great ! but volume buidler / mesher doesn't in animation right ?
do u have a solution ?
hey can u help me i am on rd 21 ad i only see sdf smooth option in volume builder theres no option for reshape layer or smooth layer
Instead avoid the volume mesh and within the volume builder in object and SDF Dilate and Erode and you get the same result
How to get that Ice cream ?
OMGG Is there octane for r20?
Where to find That candy?
Hi! thanks for good tutorial! can I do this with R19 instead?
Sorry, I don't think so :(
merci
Parece un fideo de chocolate bro.
The volume builder takes ages to render!
Any suggestions why?
You get an astounding number of polys when using it - try adjusting the error threshold to 0.1 to smooth out some of the geometry. (Check your mesh view to make sure it's making any headway)
I hope this helps a little!
Looks more like someone is shitting on icecream. Definitely better to do such simulations in realflow
Could you make a tutorial on how to afford C4D?
Stop being a bum and go get a job.
who buys programs in 2020 XD
@@WesselBreunissen69 hahahaha....only production studios perhaps
@@joeharmony6949 😂😂 you think🤔
@@WesselBreunissen69 Or if you are just good person who has enough money to support software developers by buying their software🤣🤣🤣
1:30
shortcut, plzzzzz
I'm not sure what you mean, but at 1:30 I just hit the C button on the keyboard to make the Cloner editable...
alt+g, creating null group
no color please
Where was this tutorial when I was making cobblestone pathways?
that is 100.000 dummy :D
to be honest, this looks janky af and not really good :/
😢😢😢
I disagree, the method works well, the information was clearly presented. well done @thepixellab2011!
James Vella totally legitimate to do so 👌 when it helps ppl, it obviously got it‘s right to be here
