I love how you talked about family and the "perfect family" because my parents are divorced, and I know it's a common thing, but I don't really know anyone else who's parents are separated, and I'm perfectly happy with how my family is now, but everytime my friends mention their dads, or someone asks me what my parents do, I always feel really awkward when I know I shouldn't. I love my family, and I know you don't need two parents to be a "perfect" family, but I always feel so aware that I don't, and sometimes it gets to the point where I'm kind of afraid (?) to tell people my parents are divorced because I'm afraid of being judged, even though none of it was my fault and, there's honestly nothing to judge

+Sweet_lilly_love we didn't have any contact with him for like 6 or 7 years, and then we started going to reunification therapy, but that didn't really work out (so much had changed) so we eventually just let it go. But I'm not really upset about it I'm happier this way

I live in South Africa and when you guys have summer vacation we will be in the middle of winter. We have a vacation in the middle of our school year from 24th June to 18th July. I'm soooo glad our summer is almost over! I really don't like being hot, I would much rather be cold. Loved the house!

GO TO PIKE PLACE!! It's such an amazing market and it makes me so so happy when ever I go there. Also Alki Beach is such a beautiful and fun place to go, you can walk the strip and do a whole bunch of fun things, and please try to go on the Farris wheel and ride in the clear basket it is really worth it. Have lots of Seattle, I hope you have lots of fun in my home city! ❤️😂

Of course go to the space needle, walk around that park area and maybe some of the exhibits. Go to pikes place, there will be A LOT of people but it's really fun, it's shops and some local artists. Walk around the docks there's the aquarium and a few fun shops. Then there's the international district! There's so much more, also look up to see if there's a festival going on at that time. Have fun in Seattle.

Summer and Fall are my favorite seasons, I don't even know why! You can go swimming and just relax in summer and in fall u can cozy up to a fire and just snuggle >~< And all the smells! That's what I LOVE about fall

Ooh when you get to Seattle, take a trip up to gas works park! Its beautiful up there and its tops a 10 minute drive from the space needle. Also, don't forget to go to pike place! And if you have extra time, take a trip to the University of Washington campus, its the perfect place for photo ops, the buildings are gorgeous.

AHHHHHHHH YOU'RE COMING TO SEATTLE!!!!!!! Here's a few suggestions on where to go: Pike Place Market and the Gum Wall are probably some of the biggest free tourist attractions downtown. Also chihuly glass museum is really pretty (you can see some of it over the fence by the Space Needle). I hope you have fun in Seattle!

It's called the me and friends challenge, you have to use all the lots in the town where all the lots are open,
1) you can only have a household of 4 to start with
2) every household has 2 boy and 2 girls
3) no making up charters
4) the house can't be very big
5) be creative
6) have fun
7) ps you have to have a sim that looks like you

Good luck in Seattle, I've been there before, it's fun. Looks like you have a red eye flight back. I live on the east coast too and whenever you come back from the west coast, it generally tends to be red eyes where you get back the next morning. They're never fun though. I'm always exhausted afterwards.
Something that really bothers me with TS4 is that the families that you don't play don't have any new babies. Like they will age but they don't reproduce on their own lol. In TS3 other families would expand on their own and I just found it cute that your sim all of a sudden just had a new cousin, niece/nephew or new neighbor. I wish they would change that in a future update. Maybe with this new kids themed pack they will do an update that includes this! Does anybody else agree or is it just me hoping for this?

+Jane Richards actually since I wrote this I've found a mod that does this for the game! It's called MC command center or something like that! I love it! You should check it out :)
+Catherine Glick +Catherine Glick yes it actually does! You should try it! You can change a whole bunch of settings like who can have babies and who can get married to each other. And how often people get married and have babies. You can also set relationship levels (both romantic and friendship) and decide things like if you want the sims in the towns to be able to get divorced on their own and marry someone new. Overall just a really cool mod!

-The EMP (Experience Music Project) its literally right next to the space needle. If you're in lovvee with music this is perf for you. Its a museum filled with cool music stuff 😂
-Seattle Center if you wanna hang at the park and see a cool huugge water fountain then this is the place for you.
