The cake part of the recipe kinda reminds me of a breakfast dish we called egg heaps ( or scrambled pancakes) There's a German name but I can't remember it. Eirhoffer? That's not quite it... Anyway, we add cracked black pepper to the mix and cook it in a skillet with butter and put Karo syrup on them. But your dessert looks scrumptious I gotta try it ❣️
