I'm not so sure you guys are gonna actually like this movie but interested to know your opinions.
The actress is Vidya Balan,one of the finest performers in Indian cinema. She is also in Kahaani and her performance is monumental in that too.. hopefully you'll check it out.
This movie was ahead of it’s time, in that it chose to chose to show mental health as compared to a supernatural storyline. Ghost stories were all the craze then and they could have easily went with the possession plot. I’m sure it went over most peoples head back then. Mental health is only just being talked about in media.
Ok guys , let's just clarify some things . This is a remake of a malayalam movie manichitrathazu (1992) , with malayalam thriller movies there is a common trope of clarifying the mystery towards the END ( classic Hitchcock formula ) so be PATIENT . Everything has a meaning and purpose .This movie is a cult classic and way ahead of it's time , once part 2 is uploaded , i'll point out every single detail for clarification. ( cuz i know there will be a lot to clarify ) 😄
You guys are missing a lot of context on why Aditya acts that way. He makes such weird remarks on purpose to trigger a reaction on Avni. When he goes to the thrid floor with Avni where she is showing her a lot of Manjulika's stuff, he tries to provoke her by saying that stuff about the king.
you guys must have found beating children even adult children by there elder parents or relative parents as very cruel , unethical, unlawfull , strange but it is extra common and casual in india. and no body minds that here, got beaten up by parents is a part of daily routine in india.
You guys seem to be liking the movie more than most other foreign reactors, so far. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this.
Bollywood has literally stopped making//ie producing movies since like 2016. So its basically ...-2016 and then just a void. Same for songs which all became beyond shitty after like 2016/2017.
So many jokes y'all missed on. But it's funny seeing y'all react to the unusual stuff too. 😂 Great going guys! 🙌🏽
Okk that’s a great pick . If you’re looking for more comedy from Akshay I’ll recommend De Dana Dan . The movie goes very fast with its comedy. More like you r laughing at a scene and you’ll miss out another humor line .
FYI : Bhool Bhulaiya is the remake of a 1993 Malayalam movie Manichitrathazhu.
I am 30 now and I must say even after 15 years this movie gives same epic vibes that I witnessed as a kid back in the day when it in the theatres . This movie is a prime example of how a cult classic should be . Loved your reaction guys keep it up :)
