I was the bus lane monitor for so long and I miss the craziness of those days! Austin traffic sucks! I’m a native Austinite and I remember when we could get across town in 20 mins but that was so long ago when Ben white was 2 lanes and they’ve been working on I35 since I was born LOL 😂 We take motorcycle rides through the Hill Country all the time it’s beautiful!
Perhaps invest in a single serve coffee maker that requires their coffee mug or paper cup so there's nothing to break. There are models available that use both coffee grounds and pods.
Yummy those smoked chicken thighs were so appealing! Loved the resort style campground. Small world, my brother Bryan worked for the Dallas school district as a director of purchasing the entire district food program. He did that back in the 90's for ten years. Anyhow, I'm happy to see my favorite traveler back. Happy holidays 🎄

As a former long-term resident of DFW, I can attest to the traffic gridlock and how it made me move far away from the metroplex. I do miss the area to some degree, just not the overpopulation.

We have many beautiful places to camp during the warmer months; however, they fill up fast, and reservations are recommended. What types of Campgrounds do you prefer, and what attractions do you like? We have everything from resorts and state parks to some BLM for boondocking if you are into that.

We've done that once have the trailer at wife's work and just take off, saves a lot of time. Yep I 35 is a struggle. Wow Firefly is fancy. We like the coffee at Java ranch.
