I live just north of you in marysville. Started putting up lights in February and ran across this vid today. Great instructional video! So far I have close to 4K lights outlining windows, eves, and garages. Planning on a mega tree or a few arches to fill out some of the “canvas” for this year.
Thank you for taking the time to help others in their quest to share holiday happiness with their communities.

This is my first pixel year after many years running a show with software that I wrote around 10 years ago. I'd love to win this kit because this is the most helpful, detailed video I've seen on building a mega tree. We will make this the centerpiece of our display and will be the first in our end of town to have pixels. Also, I loved the fake (real) megatrees in the beginning of the video. The humor kept me watching! 🎄

Best instructions on a RGB Mega Tree I have found. Very clear and concise. Everything is covered including where to buy the parts
and also some detail on how to make the tree more secure using j bolts and bungee balls. Great video

@@CounterHolidayLights I will be building this pixel tree for next Christmas. My plan is to have a Light O Ramma 16 channel controller for the tree and a stand alone controller for the tree topper that would connect into the 16 channel controller. This will be my only RGB piece and I don't plan on doing any expanding. Was looking to use a Light O Ramma director to play the show. Do you know where I can get an already sequenced couple of songs for this pixel tree and tree topper? Just want to be able to use the director and loop the songs.

HOW AWESOME TO HAVE FOUND YOUR VIDEO!!! I have decorated since I was a child. I remember my Dad putting one little 100 light strand up and we loved it. Then he built me a wire star from his work that I still use. From there it has progressed every year and it's what makes Christmas to me. I decorate because it gives me such joy and I love to share it with others to give that nostalgia that I felt as a kid decorating.
I just upgraded to LED lights around my home to get rid of those costly lights that run up your power bill and had to be replaced and repaired every year. Now I want to advance my display and this tree would fit perfect in my current setup. I'm needing something to add that pizazz and help elevate my decor...
THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO and this opportunity!!

Very nice tutorial. This is my first year trying rgb pixels. Currently waiting on some to trial run a jack-o- lantern display. Would love to set up a mega tree for Christmas! Here's hoping for some contest luck. :)

Great how-to video! I would like to win this and then I would give it to my neighbor. I talked him into doing a light show with me this year and he is needing a mega tree!

Nice video.. I'm planning my first display this year, and plan on building a mega tree just like this as the center-piece of my display. A free one would save me a lot of time & money! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain every little step. It helps so much getting started and for the less mechanically inclined with the tips and tricks. I would love to win the mega tree because in my efforts this year I wasn't able to get the hardware for it and I am the only person in a good distance with any kind of light show.

Just stumbled across your channel today. Very impressed! Even saved this one as i know I'll be using it as a reference in the future. The idea of a mega tree always seemed so daunting until now. It's my first year, and your megatree would look amazing next to my house :-) fingers crossed!

Great video - you covered all the essentials and make it look easy. I started last year with three props and a house outline. I would love to add a megatree and arches this year. The Boscoyo kit would be a great start.

Excellent video. This will be my second year with RGBs but I got started late last year (October). The family really wanted me to do a Mega Tree but just didn't have the time. Now that I understand xLights a little better, a Mega Tree is definitely is going to be part of our display.
I've been nervous about 'how' to actually build one, but your video makes it seem of not so much of a daunting task.

Why wouldn’t you want this kit? Crazy talk! I would place it in the most visible place in the yard. Thanks for all of the helpful videos.
