Drawback on the ‘send later’ feature: only works with other iPhones and has to have iMessages enabled. Also the recipient will be notified it was a delayed sent message; so much for pre-sending your call-out text to your boss then next morning while still asleep in bed cause you turned off the alarm.
Unfortunately unless someone on android uses Google messenges or Samsung messenges they won’t have RCS. Some people who use Samsung messenges the RCS is hit or miss. I’m using the beta and people I know on Samsung phones it’s very hit or miss. But people who use Google messages is way more consistent. I’m kind of glad they’re getting rid of Samsung messages for Google messages as a default. But I really wish they will bring RCS to third-party messaging apps.
This is the other half of the most important feature to me. Can one see a list of the messages they have scheduled like one can in Samsung Messages? Very important feature for me as I use this to stay organized with a ton of leads for my services and to follow up.
I am angry with Apple because I live in the EU and don't have access to these very helpful Apple Intelligence features. Apple, please bring them to Germany in German very soon.
@@beardfm but why Android and Windows has these AI features in the EU? Windows is also a Gatekeeper. I think it is Apple blackmailing EU users to worry about the EU government and stop the DMA for Apples advantages, so Apple don’t have to allow Sideloading.
I can only say to Apple that when they don’t find a solution for their AI features, they should be worried about people buying an Android phone with AI instead of the new iPhone 16. They undermine their own arguments for purchasing an iPhone 16. It would be an easy decision for many EU users to switch to Android.

Unfortunately it's a result of the DMA, we'll see if that changes in the future.
