সরকারি চাকরিতে কোটার বিষয়ে আদালতই চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত দেবে। তার আগে বিক্ষোভ-অবরোধ করে, এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থী ও সাধারণ মানুষকে ভোগান্তিতে না ফেলার আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ওবায়দুল কাদের। এদিকে, ছাত্র-শিক্ষকদের যৌক্তিক আন্দোলনে সমর্থনেরর কথা জানিয়েছেন বিএনপি মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর। তবে এতে বিএনপি কোনো ইন্ধন দিচ্ছে না বলেও জানান তিনি। সকালে রাজধানীতে আলাদা সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এসব কথা বলেন এই দুই নেতা।
The court will take the final decision regarding quota in government jobs. Earlier, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader called on HSC candidates and common people not to suffer by protest-blocking. Meanwhile, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed support for the logical movement of students and teachers. But he also said that BNP is not giving any fuel to it. These two leaders said these things in separate press conferences in the capital in the morning.
