That was badass! Gritty and rich with some metal mayhem. It's really cool that you found this band and hold them in such high regard.
maybe this band could be the definition of overlooked. Never had them too much on my radar. but every song so far is just a big yes. thank you for the reaction Cosmic🤘
Septicflesh is my greatest musical dicovery of the past five years with conan.
And once again they gave me an eargasm..., big thanks for introducing this band to me and of course to who ever suggested them in the first place 🤘
Dream theater - Pale Blue Dot or In the Name of God for some Prog metal.
Fleshgod Apocalypse- the fool, the violation, the egoism for Italian symphonic death metal.
Dude Septicflesh always hits the spot!
Hey dude geez you're grinding putting out a lot of videos 😅 I get it and respect it - so much good music so little time, but I might not keep up with every one - glad I chose this one though, Septic Flesh is a band I've heard of and not gotten round to til now, impressed 🤘
Hope you're doing well today man, when you asked in a video the other week for one band this channel has introduced us to I'd just found your channel so I didn't have an answer yet, now I do 🔥
Once again 🔥🔥🔥
As you also fell in love with them, you need to check out an Italian band Fleshgod Apocalypse. Songs like, "No", "Sugar", "The Violation", "Epiloque"......
Another orchestral death metal band. Not so "dramatic" or theatrical or whatever, but they are dope.
dude right, also Fleshgod was my first reaction ever. Love them
Here's the thing with SepticFlesh: Regal beautiful orchestra, amazing lyrics, Brutal metal, ethereal cleans, grotesque growls. It is the best of all music.
I've always loved that super dark and chaotic sounding part at 3:23 in this song. Just sounds like pure evil in music form.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on more from the Communion album. One that isn't mentioned very often is "Babel's Gate". It's on the shorter side, but it really shows what they can do with unorthodox musical arrangements.
Liked it 😮
YESSSSS finally got to Dark Art 💜 I really hope it did live up to the hype I made it out to be, it demonstrates their ability to mix the orchestra with the guitars at the same time so insanely well (like the sections at 2:23-2:43 and the entire outro buildup from 5:48 onwards). When I first heard Septicflesh they were filling a giant hole of "dark atmospheric and heavy" in my library and this track does it the best imo. While I prefer the studio version, the live version is really good too (mainly because the chorus features harsh vocals that the studio version doesn't have) so that could be a good watch during a livestream at some point maybe?
Ever heard Soen? Vitals off of their new album is amazing. 'Vitals' and 'Hollowed'. Amazing as fuck voices.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody second that. Soen has one hell of a epic catalogue!
SOEN is great. I was at their first nyc show. Gonna see them again next year.

The entire Codex Omega album is wonderful, I propose something to you, you should do the complete album reaction song by song. separate videos but following the order of the album, it is very enjoyable and in the end you would draw your conclusions from the complete album.- greetings
If you like Septicflesh, I think you should try Fleshgod Apocalypse, Italian band, very symphonic as well and they´ve got their own piano player and an opera singer as a part of the band
If you liked the style of this album, 'Faceless Queen' is amazing :)
I don't know what it is about Greece but they have some nasty metal bands, and by nasty I mean awesome of course! Septicflesh has to be on the top of that hill along with Rotting Christ IMHO. 🤘🤘
Some very good melodic parts, i was digging the chord changes as well, unusual, it caught my ear. i couldn't pick up as much lyrics but a bit, what i heard sounded good. Glad you enjoyed it Cosmic ❤ and ✌️ everyone
You liked this?! Well, after 3rd Testament (this album), you'll probably really love the orchestral version called Dark Testament. Come to think of it, most of the songs from the past 4 albums have an orchestral variation or compilation if its your kind of thing.
Don't know if anyone has mentioned the independent artist Nini (NiniMusic on CZcams) to you before. She plays classical Taiwanese instruments to modern music. She's currently primarily just instrumental but has some vocal tracks. She's also live streaming and playing requests doing "live learns" and she can really rock it out. Her song LongMa just hit 4 million views. She also has a song called Homeland ft. Jayant Bhadula of Bloodywood. MaZu is one of her lyric songs. Just thought you may want to check her out.
A world class band! Check out also amazing similar bands Rotting Christ and Fleshgod Apocalypse.
to all those who say that sympo metal is something like Nightwish, I would like to include this
Martyr next! It is about Hypatia of Alexandria, who absolutely deserves her own song.
