Still get so happy everytime I see them performing live.
I had the privilege of seeing them in concert at Billy Bob's Texas in Ft. Worth right after Christmas along with Ray Wylie Hubbard. What a show!
two oklahoma legends
Who else have you seen there? You a local? I’m jelly, one of these days I’m Billy Bob’s bound! Stockyards too. Gruene Hall! Maybe Stubb’s! About a half dozen other juke joints around there too! Oh, forgot about LJT Fest….one of these days!! Peace!
Last show I saw at BB was .38 Special, saw Ray at Ranch Bash many years ago, but jealous of the lineup you saw.
Truly American music. Love it
I call it a retread.
Glad Evan is sober and happy now …keep it going boys
Yes!!!!! Been through it and still semi struggling. He beat it and the band is back... so happy for him and anyone who's been through addiction and beat it and luck to those who are still struggling. God bless
They have quickly become my favourite band & I’m so happy their new album rips just as much as their old ones.
Saw these guys in Vancouver around 2010 when they opened for Corb Lund. Hooked immediately. Hope to see them again.
Can't wait for Corbs new album!
Usually just check out his opening monologue, this is a real treat.
Best band in music!
Thanks for posting. Looking forward to their show in Macon Georgia 🎶🇺🇲🍺
Amazing show in MKE in December. Do prefer earlier albums but so glad they’re back together. Hope they can keep it goin’!
They're just the best ❤
Saw them open for The Dropkick Murphys last St. Pat's day in Boston..... They were AMAZING! Evan even performed "The last one" with the Murphys!
So amazing and so proud of this band!
Great song
Love love love these guys!
The absolute BEST!!!❤
Nothing like real cowboys singing country music!
Sooooo proud of these guys!!!! ❤❤❤
Love Turnpike! ❤❤❤
Great band! Just started really getting into them and purchased their entire catalogue last week.
So glad these guys are back together. Playing well, but I'll have to admit a preference for their pre-breakup material. Birdhunters, Good Lord Lorrie, and Unrung "you've got a Chevrolet as old as her, and Hell, you bought it new".
Has their new album grown on you since you wrote this comment?
Never heard of em till now. But,of course-----im from NJ where the greatest race track, anything can happen, New Jersey Turnpike. So,was a lil surprised by them. 😮
Great music, amazing vocals and band !
Well deserved!!!!! So underrated
Just so good!
I’ve seen turnpike 2 times now. Great concert
I love the lyrics to this song!
Enjoyed that!!
Love for the world only...
EVAN F**KING FELKER! Legendary 🔥
🐝 THE BUTTERFLY 🐝
It's nice to hear an excellent song beautifully sung. Great TEAM 👌Thank you so much.
i love country awesome song
kimmel doesn't deserve that kind of greatness
oh ya
Just for a little bit it feels like everything might just work itself out!! Get after it boys!!🌚🌚
You can’t ask a band who has been writing music and and performing for over a decade to stay the same. They’ve grown and changed with time. Everything eventually does. If you don’t like the new sound that’s your prerogative but just know that you sound old and jaded. You asked them to play - sounds like playin’ to me. 🫶
That soundcrew's FOH feed absolutely blows. WTF?
Great camera work
@JimmyKimmelLive can you upload the Fridayy performance please? Thank you!
Should have done Brought Me

Wright city boy on jimmy Kimmel!
Facebook won't allow the video to be posted.
yes thats sad dont know why they do that
I thought they were on kimmel tonight 1-17-23... 🤐
Banjo was a little loud 😮
hi
Drink prime
Cholo Music
Screw Jimmy. Good band.
Lol, in my best Pat McAfee voice…”Jimmy Kimmel stinks!”
Why did they pick their worst song to showcase to the world. I had a feeling this would happen
Its a good song, but evan was a little shaky, im guessing his nerves were all over the place. He obviously gets a lot of anxiety
Sounds like the Charlie Daniels' band slowed down due to being on acid.
🤣🤣🤣
Look up bossier city by turnpike lmao
@@slconcerts3497 Much better! 👍
💙 Vote Blue
Of course you'd be watching Jimmy kibble wouldn't you
Lead singer’s a little pitchy.
That's just Evan Felker for you. He's never been a great singer. His talent lies in song writing. Been a huge fan since their $5 cover charge days in Oklahoma back in the early 2000's. Dudes a story teller and he's got knack for dropping a line that makes sense and hits home 4 lines later than what he originally said. Lol
Saw em in Cary, NC a few months ago. Had a 2nd row ticket….it was awesome. Had a warm up band for the warm up band and I blame that for no Easton and Main. There was another they skipped over but they (with Reckless Kelly) did My Hometown, a tribute to the great CR!
Oh, and speaking of EF’s songwriting, Birdhunters…who the hell else writes and performs stuff like that? And Wrecked!!??! Lol
@@Shoreline71All of his songs are amazing, The Bird Hunters is probably some of his best writing!
The whole effect was heartless and artificial
Lame compared to so much other, better stuff out there, sorry lol
Missing more than just something.
Turnpike troubadours are the most underrated band in country music history and deserve to be one of best of all time. You cant judge a band off of one song that they performed live for the first time in the bands history on live TV.
Group needs a different lead singer who can actually sing!
Sounds like AI wrote the song
My guy, give Evan a break. Everyone has an off day
Evan and Nix are what make the band. Without Evan, the band wouldnt be near as good.
What's your version of a "lead singer who can actually sing"? Evan Felker has some serious pipes on him, but his is an old, soulful voice that matches what he writes of to a finely crossed "t." No vocal acrobatics or unnecessary vocal hoopla of any kind with EF.
Listeners today are too used to the artificial manipulated voices of current day music.
No energy. Shoulda lip synced.
Dude, give Evan a break. Everyone has an off day
@@HenryHuntHabit Evan was fine. His gift is in his songwriting, storytelling and vocal delivery, not pitch perfection. Troll above thinks autotune is how people sound.
Stick with your pop music. Real country doesn't lip synch.
@@rockinredneck57 Not about the genre, sometimes it’s just logistics. U2 at the Grammy’s a few years ago, for example. Everyone knows U2 can play live. However, when you’re on a barge in front of the Statue of Liberty in winter, it’s just easier to pre-track. Logistically, that would have been a nightmare to do live. Sometimes, it’s just easier.
Go listen to Beyonce...LOL
