  • Showing you my first run on the Kyosho Brand Mini-Z Track. These awesome tracks were previously so hard to get in Australia as they were only available overseas, and the shipping costs were excessive. However, I found out that Frontline Hobbies in NSW started stocking them so I was able to get it.
    In this video, I test out my three Mini-Z's on the new track to see which is the fastest. I also show the EasyLAP RC Timing System in action!
    Here's a link to my previous video showing my homemade DIY Mini-Z Track:

    You made me fall in love with the mini z´s mate! I watched all of your videos, they are great and I learned a lot from them about the mini z´s! I hope that you are going to upload in the future too, because you make awesome stuff. I am going to order my first mini z too, probabaly the Mercedes C9 in the silver colorway! I cant decide right now, so i give myself some days to think about which one i will get. Greetings from Germany!

      Thank you very much for your kind comment! I'd love to upload more, however just been busy with my job. The Mercedes C9 looks nice and is the LM mounted Mini-Z. I want to get one of the LM's in the future as well, looking at the dark blue C9 :) ... Did you end up getting one? Enjoy!

    I have the N-RM chassis, bought the Porsche RTR to run my Honda NSX body. I changed the front suspension to RC Atomic I.A.S. with anti roll bar and the difference is night and day. Just make sure you use very grippy rears and slightly less grippy fronts, you'll get some nice very controlable understeer from that RM setup!

    • @jarvzRC
      @jarvzRC  Před 3 lety +1

      Funny you say that, I recently replaced the Porsche body with my Honda NSX body. I’ll try experimenting with different tyres because I think I’ll stick with the NSX and try to get it running the way I want.

    • @patrickvanvlooten
      @patrickvanvlooten Před 3 lety

      The extra 4mm of wheelbase really makes a difference. The NSX body is way more stable than the Porsche, also because it's a bit heavier. I lowered mine using RC Atomic delrin wheels (19mm front, 20mm rear) and deleting the T-plate bracket. The I.A.S. let's you really dial in the front suspension and height. I can see the car leaning on it's outer front wheel in corners!

    Hi loving the content 👍
    Can I ask other than the obvious side rail design and over all look does this track function just the same (grip levels for the car) as the cheap tiles you got from bunnings for your DIY track?

    • @jarvzRC
      @jarvzRC  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Grip levels about the same, some people say less grip on the Bunnings tiles. Highly recommend the Kyosho track, the set up/pack down is easier and knowing that you’re running the same track as all other clubs helps if you’re serious about creating a long-term club

    Hi Jarvin, and how was the feeling of traction and bump comparing this RCP track with the first one you made yourself?, thanks...

    • @jarvzRC
      @jarvzRC  Před 3 lety +2

      I’d say the traction is the same, the homemade track might even have slightly more traction. The RCP track has noticeably smoother joints (or more perfectly flush joints) however I don’t notice much difference in bumps when driving between the two.
