- Nice long forgotten illustrated audio interview with RONNIE JAMES DIO, recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in November of 1983, on the 'Holy Diver' tour.
Among other things, hear Ronnie tell the fascinating story about the spirit called BAAL, which interupted the recordings of RAINBOW's 'Long Live Rock & Roll' album.

Thanks a lot for this treasure!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dio is one of my greatest inspirations on many levels.
Music, lyrics, spirituality... he is an absolute benchmark.
its always a delight to see dio talk about his stuff
Always a good storyteller!
Love it. Thanks
Our pleasure!
He ain't lying about many of those priests.
There's always (at least) 2 sides of the coin....
@@bang-a-gonzo What are you saying? There are many incidences in the priesthood of child rape, where the priest is relocated. Can you say rinse and repeat? Ask yourself why is this possible? Because if one goes down all go down. Even if you are a legit priest, how can you tolerate this crap and not expose?
Rev I7 the harlot is the RCC. I ask again, what are you saying?
No, especially when he was a Alter Boy in his youth
Regardless of the preaching. It was Ronnie who chose to be a dark side traveler musician. Nobody made him. He chose to be a horror movie actor. It was his choice. He was not a role model for anyone. He played the good guy in horror music. You could say the exact same thing about Peter Cushing ! It seems Ronnie couldn't get along with very many English musicians for very long. When you complain about the majority of people you were in a band with you need to buy a mirror. Ian Gillan was the lead singer for Sabbath, and they could get together for a pint and a laugh tomorrow.
I agree that Ronnie seemed to carry a grudge and had a hard time letting bygones be bygones....but damn, what a singer!
huge voice but rubbish beliefs. He actually thinks he beat a god
There is no such thing as magic white or black. His lyrics got pretty stupid towards the end
As a musician quite overrated - at least for my ears.
