Someone tried to say i was twisting the glass last time because i was holding it with 2 hands. I can assure you that no matter how you hold it, even with one hand, it is only a matter of one or two beats before it go's. It's fun, to do this but messy! And dangerous :D

I have been meaning to do this video for a long time now. About 5 years ago discovery channel came by and wanted me to break stuff with my speaker box. So we did. We tore up phone books, bags of chips and broke some glass. It was on TV and all that good stuff. Someone actually accused me of "bending the glass" because i was using 2 hands. Recently i had some scrap glass laying around and i decided to do it again but with 1 hand. Just to show i didn't bend anything...but the bass did. We've all seen what that port can do!! Phone books, glass, and a dudes head. Why let people trash talk? lmao Your 4 18's are crazy especially in a world of walled off cars, you set up oldschool, upfiring subs with new stuff and still out perform a lot of bassheads I've seen keep it up. If I ever come out that way I'd have to find you for a demo.
Just a question, doesn't the glass fragment and get in between any of the coils or mess up the speakers in any way? I have 2 12s I'm I'm always afraid a screw or something can get into my box. And when i bump my system I get paranoid for my speakers if that screw shreds my shit.

Hey i got a question for some advice. what amp would you recommend for bass . im using 2 8s xfls american bass in a band pass box.
a mono block that is stable at 1 ohm is the simplest and most efficient route.figure out the rms and impedance in the subs manual, or online. add the rms wattage up(example 300 a woofer so 600 total), divide the impedance of one woofer by 2(example one woofer has a 4 ohm impedance, since your hooking up 2 woofers now the impedance is 2 assuming they are wired in parallel ) then find an amp that can play that wattage at that impedance. if it is a pre-built box with one + and one -. just find the stated impedance. the manual should also have a diagram explaining how to wire in series vs parallel to change to impedance. hifonics monoblocks are a decent entry amp if your impedance is 1 ohm. at higher impedance levels they put out less then advertised power.

Could you please tell me what hz to have a port tuned to for a 15 in soundqubed hdsv3.115. I'm being told a 4 cube box tuned to 46 and that sounds high to me. Also I tend to like sealed boxes but again I'm being told that sub won't sound right sealed. So please any input on port tune and opinion on that sub in a sealed enclosure. Also I don't have the skills to build my own or the money to pay to have a custom built so I'm looking at qpower qbomb enclosure. Knowing I'm going prefabed on the box would that make more sense to go sealed as there is less to get wrong in a sealed enclosure. Please any help would be greatly appreciate.

Tuning to roughly 30hz is the best for a range of music, 22-27hz for sq or less boomy music, and 35hz or higher for spl because it sounds like shit but gives great output.

A man I have 2 15 inch skar subs on 2 skar amps at 1 ohm and built my first box in years I couldn’t decide on port so just went with old trusty too pvc pipe 4 inch box is 37 long 20 deep and 17 tall and gets down for what it is flexing shit but the low lows ain’t there the lowest it gets is 29hz and it’s not strong any ideas for port for me bro be great thanks
