I do not know how to express my admiration for the sheer perfection of the dance. I am not knowledgeable about the grammar of bharathnatyam, but there is something inexplicably beautiful about the precision and gathi of the dance here. The facial expressions, the perfect yet lively movements and even though the choreography does not reflect the meaning of the song (which I assume is part of the intention, but not sure), it is still a rewarding aesthetic experience. Bharathanatyam in the street is just fine and equally devine, for where is not God?

Hi. Thank you for the beautiful dance filled with gracefully executed abhinaya and nritta.
I'm an avid bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer myself and I invariably feel that this is the way to go with creating awareness about this classical indian ballet.
More often than not, around the world, we showcase this artform to only select ticketed audience and disturbingly, this audience size is dwindling.
Half my office colleagues think bharatanatyam is Bollywood dance because they've never witnessed one before. That is indeed a shame for practitioners of this art form that people do not know this art form.
You've gone against this convention and brought it to the art lovers in the open, opening their eyes, ears and heart to the existence of such a dance.
