I love this makeover because her hair was not drastically changed. She already had those lovely waves and the color was just softened and it softened her and the years were rewound before our eyes! Amazing!
Let's give this particular makeup artist some credit every one of her makeup lessons are as outstanding as Christopher's hair magic they go hand in hand

Christopher seems like a very kind person. Of course he’s amazing at what he does, he’s very good looking, but most of all he seems genuine and really cares about helping these ladies. I think his skills and the skills of his staff change lives for the better.
I love watching these videos. I only wish I could have this experience for myself. The fact that these women are “regular” folk and not models. It’s wonderful to see their transformation. Keep them up.
Just goes to show we should never give up on our appearances, as looking good and feeling good truly are connected. The expressions on these ladies' faces say it all.
What I enjoy about these videos is the use of REAL women....thin, fat, young, old, thick hair, thin hair, straight, curly...the gamut of what we actually look like, and the results are wonderful and heartwarming!! Thank you. (:

Yes, the makeup enhanced her eyes. But I felt that the laugh lines around her mouth became more noticeable as well. 😕

@@professorr.5427 I hate to agree, but I'm gonna have to. Also, I would've liked to have seen a noticeable shade of lipstick on her. Otherwise, the hair & eyes are gorgeous.
She is so serious and calm. Her cut, style, color and makeup is great. Christopher is such an outstanding and excellent person that he adjusts to every client's personal preference.

Eyebrows!!! They look wonderful. That's what I need! After chemo and radiation they never fully grew back.
Annie-I use two kinds of eyebrow pencil; one is more powdery and one is more like a crayon. It gives my eyebrows more of a textured look. This worked well even when I had no eyebrows during chemo.
Christopher Is VERY skilled, and has a terrific eye,!! Lbut I feel some credit should go to his assistants who understand what is wanted, and also those superb makeup artists who knock years off with their skills...the eyes are beautiful when done properly. Thankyou to everyone for sharing what you all do. I live in the U.K. and would really love a trip to see everyone and have a makeover. But when I hear how far ladies in the USA are travelling in, I very much doubt I would get a chance as the waiting list must go on for years!...but....I can live in hope! That reminds me of one of my appearances on Oprah. At the start of the show she asked the audience if they thought they looked as good as they can. Of course there was a big show of hands and applause. After the makeover segment she said something like, “It makes all of you thought you looked your best question yourself, doesn’t it?” Big laughter. More applause. The biggest room in the world? The room for improvement. :)

This is exactly why I won't let myself go grey! It makes you look older, and who wants to look older. Some women are lucky enough to have beautiful silver hair that looks good on them, but that's only a select few. The difference in the before and after speaks for itself.
Oh Michelle, do NOT dredge up the God’s of Power who will crucify you for that statement!!!! :) Sometimes people want to look “themselves.” And there’s a point that some reach when it feels sort of... desperate... to color their hair. Myself included. Grey hair WILL make a person look older. But who can imagine Anderson Cooper as a brunette? Older isn’t always a bad thing. Right for the person is. So if it reflects who you are, or have become (and it’s pretty hair and a pretty color), then I love gray hair. Also, if you’re going to color the hair, then you have to put the face on. A young hair color on a face with no features is not... balanced. :) I am still pleased this is a hot topic. It keeps me in business!
TheMakeoverGuy I understand what you are saying, and I realize some women love their grey hair. It's a personal choice. You have to do what makes you feel good and what suits you. My grandmother coloured her hair light blond until she was 87, and then she decided to let it go grey. She was lucky, though. She always looked much younger than her age. People always thought she was my mother. As a young woman, she was very beautiful, and as she aged. she was still beautiful, just older. She always took great pride in her appearance. She would never have left the house without a bit of makeup on! Anyway, one day I, too, will let myself go grey, but it won't be until I feel OLD enough!
P.S. My husband is completely grey (white). He started going grey in his late 20's, and it never bothered me in the least. I love his grey hair! It really suits him with his blue eyes. : )

It’s all about balance and if the color looks and FEELS good on YOU. No need to embrace anything on us that we don’t want to show the world.
You are correct. it is the quality of the hair, the color of the grey/silver/white whatever we want to call it (loss of pigment), and putting the rest of it together, like makeup, styling, and most importantly, makeup. :) When we’re fading with age, which pretty much happens to all things that age, if one does not want to fade he or she must add color SOMEWHERE! Or, just let it all fade. But the happily fading are not in my general market. (Nor are they really happily fading). Always a hot button topic. Right there along with hair length. Keeps me in business!
I am a big believer in makeup-these makeovers are amazing, brings out the hidden beauty that we all have. Christopher is so skilled in seeing what is possible. I love these makeovers.

Here's what I love most about Christopher. He is a makeover/hair THERAPIST first and foremost. He lets the women tell him their "story," and what stories they tell. What they've always done, what they hope for, their fears. He LISTENS and does not suggest until the end, until they've told their story. He respects each client. He is truly gifted at what he does on so many levels!
