What shoes youre using?
In this race I’m using hyper speeds and older model but I still use the newer versions too now hyper speed 2/3
@@EWALK I'm new to racewalking. What are the main differences between running shoes with racewalking shoes? I've been a runner for a very long time, just recently switching to racewalking & realize there are shoes for racewalking.
@@dannhu4248 race walking shoes ARE running shoes, but they are ones will "lower profile heels". It's very important to look up the stats of any shoe you buy to look at the heel to toe millimeter offset. Racewalking shoes have less of an incline from heel to toe so a good recommended start point is any shoe with an 8mm heel to toe off set. BUT I will say that I some times train in shoes as high as 14mm because I am used to it.
All that being said, good race walking shoes tend to be marathon road running shoes. or 5km racing flats.
