The only release from the Dance act D-Generation Released in 1994 Track listing 1 - 73-93 2 - Shattered Windscreen 3 - The Condition Of Muzak 4 - Rotting Hill www.discogs.com/D-Generation-...
Do you plan to rerelease any of this, or perhaps unreleased material from D-Generation? Great music by the way, really feels like the sound of the future rushing in. Us who crossed paths with his work will never forget the k-punk.
@@JamesBarrett23 I agree that publishing is not just about capitol, I just can't see how you could justify a re-release when the life and demise of this project has already been dragged through such a system once, and now a great deal of meaning in the work exists as the result of that. As much as I would like to hold this record to, I can't see why its not already significant enough lying to rot on youtube?

@@JamesBarrett23 I really sympathise with your attempt to educate or archive here, though at this moment I'd say regardless of the invisible power structures both youtube and hyper dub records sit within, the actual undertaking of distribution was done is initially with great intention for strategic means inside the wider umbrella project of the Ccru. As much as it pains me to admit the fact this project was uploaded (although in fairness a lovely tribute) is already doing enough damage to the cause.
We miss you, Mark :(
Just bought K Punk and it brought me here.
Would love to hear what Mark had to say about current times.
Probably not heard this in nearly 20 years. Good times in the studio, buddy. Think about you a lot.

Damn! This is the background music behind Mark Fisher's readings. Awesome! Thanks for sharing this!
Normally don't listen to dance music but this is honestly really well done. Glad the Mark Fisher connection got me to listen to it.
RIP Mark Fisher

This should get a re-release
business ontology really has permeated music, probably shouldn't aye
@@jamiekeegan2709 Publishing something is not just about business. I don't think this would ever make money. But as a cultural artefact it has value.
