- Russia reportedly offered Iran its assistance to Iran as Tehran begins probe into the fatal crash involving President Ebrahim Raisi and entourage on Sunday. TASS reported that offer was made to Iran by former defence minister Sergei Shoigu, who now holds the position of secretary of Russian Security Council. Watch the video for more details.

i would venture to guess that there was the use of electro-magnetic pulse done at the 'attas-econd' level enough to compromise the electronics on the aircraft thereby losing it's orientation and and flight profile. the iranians need to take their time and figure this out - it is doable - you have the science and brainpower to figure this out and do not disclose your finds, once made. do the science and learn! there were the leaders of two countries involved in the attack

Although tensions are high in certain areas, I'm thinking that given the weather conditions and using old stuff that they themselves didn't construct, I think it's fair to say that it was an unfortunate accident - but you never know! I saw the report of helicopter having a shaky ride, but I didn't think I'd wake up the next morning to see reports that everyone on board had died - that was probably the most trippy thing I've ever experienced and that's just from getting news on my phone.
This country should've given the President the best aircraft there was out there to keep him safe. They have upgraded weapons but have Mr. President in a 50 year old Chopper when there was plenty of money to get a new one. They should've looked out for him better. What a shame.
