Your homestead looks awesome! We don’t try to fight the deer, I’m just north of Nashville TN.. the road gets most of ours..It’s sad to see them dead in our yards/roads..
In my household, I keep a dog. With Potpot I walk around the site patrolling the perimeter, when I'm not at home, my dog circles and walks along the same route that I walked with. Potpot is a good helper, our cottage is much safer with him👍
@smashsalmon9073 My neighbor which is a farmer has grass that is waist high right next to my property line probably where the fox lives etc. Over the years I have seen a red fox several times. Glad that your dog patrols the yard. I have coytee, fox, cougar, feral cats( which are violent) bob cats, wolf. Some of those would kill my dog or injure him. My lab is 93lbs. I myself carry something to protect myself if I go to my garden and woods. Last year I had coytee in my garden. I would pick vegetables and then a coytee would pop out of garden and run. It was creepy.
@@LivingOurDreamHomestead-ns2he it sounds very dangerous, if I lived with such neighbors, I would walk with a gun all the time, especially if I have small children in the family.
