    Hi there I stumbled upon your channel. I’m glad your instructions are pretty easy to follow. Well I wanted to ask you a question. I wanted to make this blanket for a queen size bed. How many rows of each would I make for each square to get my preferred size. I thank you in advance have a blessed weekend.
    Sorry in case it matters I am using U.S. 4ply yarn. Thanks

    • @WoollyWumpkins
      @WoollyWumpkins  Před 9 měsíci

      Hiya, thanks for your comment, you would work more squares rather than more rows, this blanket is 12 squares, my guess for a queen size would be 30 squares, hope that helps 😎👍🏼

    😊❤Michelle I loved following your tutorial, I used 8ply acrylic wool using different shades of grey and breaking it with the 7 rows of black turned out beautiful ,wished I could add a photo here of it to show you, not sure how to , doesn’t give me an option to do so. What weight was the yarn 🧶 used on this granny square I made one with medium weight (4) and I think it was too big ? And I used a size 5mm hook but maybe you used a weight (3) ? Your blanket is amazing and I’m gonna try to make this pattern .

    Thank you for the tutorial!! I’ll be making one for my son. He celebrates 4/20 and would like it in Rastafarian colors 😂. Can I start with a magic circle?

      @WoollyWumpkins  Před 2 lety

      Hi there, yes you can start with a magic circle ⭕️ 👍🏼

  • @timothymarshall-nichols7823

    if i was to still copy the pattern would it work if i just done 1 big square , what i mean is would it look the same or similar to yours ??

    • @WoollyWumpkins
      @WoollyWumpkins  Před 2 lety

      Hiya, if you keep the same tonal change in the colours, then the one square would look the same but in my opinion it looks better with several uniform squares, the effect tricks your brain better 😂 Here is one of my earlier videos of a giant square blanket, with 4 squares. Have a look at it, it gives a good visual of how different one big square would be. czcams.com/video/qgflnu0C2Wg/video.html
