I love how humble you were when you called yourself a high level beginner. As an intermediate beginner, I'm always so happy and excited to teach the beginner beginners. To know that you are having this much fun learning, makes me even more excited to learn from you. Keep up the amazing work! You're an inspiration ✨💛
So happy to read this! It does truly make me happy. Let me know if there is anything specific you want me to make a video about 🥰
Came for the tutorial, stayed for the incredible fashion sense and beautiful personality! Thank you!
Thank youuu!
I had been STRUGGLING with my strut walk and almost gave up on learning how to do it. Your segment about foot placement made the difference! I was not rolling backwards before because I was not placing my foot back down diagonally. Such a huge step that other tutorials were missing. Glad I came across your video. Thank you!
Yess I had the same and it took my months of trial and error before I figured out the issue
I honestly feel like this is the most helpful tutorial out there by far. Everything is so clear and makes so much sense and all the little pointers and break downs are so helpful. Can't wait to go try it out tomo morning
Thank you! I tried explaining it the way i wished someone had explained it to me. Let me know how it goes for you!
Yes it is, by far
Dee, Back to skating at 70 years after a 55 year hiatus. You taught me the backwards strut. The key tip was the angle of my foot. Thank you so much.
Happy to help:)
Thank you for this tutorial! I know how to skate, okay, but not enough to do these "fancy" moves. Other tutorials make it seem like it's something that'll just come naturally in minutes or hours, so I REALLY appreciate the transparency that it took you longer with regular practice. Now, I don't feel so inept for not getting it quickly. 😅 🙌🏽
Skating is definitely now something that just comes naturally 😂 it takes a LOT of practice and some people are just blessed and it comes easier to them. For the rest of us we need to practice a lot hahaha
Thank you so much for this! You broke things down in a simple way.
Hope it helps!
Thank you so much for breaking it down like this! I've watched so many videos already, but they were all missing these vital bits that you mention.... And I love your outfit! 😍
I’ve watched so many tutorials yet struggled to understand why I keep going forward instead of staying still/backward. Your explanation of where to put the weight made it click to me! Now I just gotta practice. Thanks so much!!
Happy it helped! I struggled with the same thing for so long before I figured out what I was doing wrong
definitely the best tutorial maker ive watched in my 4 months of skating. you taught me how to transition and i cant wait to practice my strut THIS way now.
This was a great explanation! Thank you for saying it takes weeks...all the other tutorial videos for this move are like "just do this , then you'll have it straight away" . 🙄
😅 yeah some people with previous experience in like dancing can pick stuff up quickly. For the normies under us it can take a while
Girl your way makes so much sense !!! Thank you
you’re really good at explaining things step by step! this was so easy to follow. thank you!
You are an awesome teacher!!
Thank you!!
That bit about weight placement unlocked something for me, thank you for explaining this!!

“The world is your catwalk.” Love it!! Thank you for this tutorial!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. You really broke down the steps and technique. I'm looking forward to watching (& learning) from your other tutorials as well. Keep up the great detailed work. This was great!
I like how you explain so cleary. I'm gonna try this walk today. Thank you so much!
Nice break down! One of the best I've seen. Was just looking through your videos. Didn't know that you was recently in Korea. I've been here for a while skating in the Busan, Suwon, and the pyeongtaek area. Keep up the good work!
Can't wait to try this! I love your tutorials thank you ❤️
Happy they're helpful! let me know if there is anything you'd like a tutorial on :)
I love your explanations, thank you!
Excellent tutorial! Thank you!!!!
oh my god .. I never understood anything with the other tutorials .. above all I understood well when you did the shot from above I send back the feet as they should be crossed .. then yes I understand .. thank you very much for your tutorial ... I just have to gain more confidence when I cross paths. thank you so much
This was amazing!! Thank you
NEW SUBBIE!!!! I'm in skate school a few times a week but I don't practice outside of it. Was going to start but needed guidance. This channel is excellent for my journey
welcome to the family :D! Hope my videos are helpful
You are so good at explaining things!! Great tutorial!!
Girl I love your instructions!!! Currently in China and trying to find in class teaching is pretty much non existent. And finding good tutorials are difficult. I find a lot of beginners teaching beginners which is cool and all because yess to sharing knowledge. But I love that your brain is similar to mine!! A perfect fit! I think this is the second trick I learned from you that helped things click with the move.
Before I def couldnt move backwards at all but it was the slant of the foot and the weight in the baby toe for me!! Keep them coming!! Cant wait for the crazy legs tutorial!!!
This one great, thanks so much. Please teach us the grapevine! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 And crazy legs. 😃
those are coming soon!
Amazing 10/10 thank you 🌻✨
Thanks! This helped a lot!😊
You got it down to a science!
i am learning to skate and you are so helpful. also great to find a black skater on youtube at last! love you
Thank you so much for this! It's taken months for my balance to be good enough to try this but I'm getting there. I kept coming back to this video and finally did it today. Not smooth but I'll keep at it!
Great job
This was incredible! You look great doing it!
this was sooo helpful! i think i got it now!
Omg omg!!!! Thank you!!! I only needed one word from you and it was “transfer your weight, and the pose!” As a model immediately u did the pose I got it and I can perfectly do it, I’m not even half way through your video!!!! Love you girlll
Awesommeeeee!!! You’re a natural 🥰🥰
You are a phenomenal teacher. Thank you!!
Thank youu!!! this is such a nice compliment ☺
Great tutorial!
Yes!!!! I keep forgetting the name of this darn move, fortunately the title was on point, I said that's the tut I'm seeking.
Lol now to see how many times i watch b4 drilling finally clicks 😂😘
Excellent Tutorial!
Girl love your Moonlight boots, waiting on mine to arrive. Great channel
They are great! Love em
I love your energy, I am Gemini too 🌹🖤
Gemini FTW!
Just stumbled on your tutorials and it is real great 👍 Easy to understand
Thank you! I try to teach it the way I would have understood it quicker. Let me know what tutorials you would like to see next!
You are such a great teacherrr!!! 😩❤️ It really helps when you put the camera in our point of view looking at your feet placement reallyyyy helps too!! I learned sooo much from your videos! PLEASEEE keep making them!! You’re honestly my skate teacher!!
thank you soo much! that's the best compliment. I'll try hahah if you have specific moves you want to learn let me know!
I am SO grateful for this tutorial. It's the only one that truly helped me to get it right. I still have a long way to go to find my balance but your video made me understand why I couldn't figure out this move before. And all the others tutorial I watched were like "learn the strut walk in 5 minutes" or things like that. And I was struggling so much with this and didn't understand what was wrong with me. But thanks to you, I spotted the problem. I'm still at the point where I have to put my back foot on the ground before placing it to the front but your video is actually the only one that reminded me to be patient with myself. Thumb up from France.
Soo happy it helped you! Yes I also thought something was wrong because it took me monthsss to learn. Turned out I just didn't understand the move correctly. Just keep on trying and drilling the moves. I might take a while but you will get there!
08:38 bookmark for later :)
I honestly gave up on this one, UNTIL I came across your video. Awesome instructions 😢 Thank you for including how you progressed over the months as well, a lot of videos I see on CZcams make it seem like they came out of the womb skating. Just subscribed 💕
I thought it was easy at first too but over the months I discovered that it requires a lot of consistency to learn a move and lots of trial an error. Happy this helped you 🥰
Keep these coming 💯✨
Will do! Already working on the next ones
@@DeeDellimore Love it!!! We need more women on skates man!! I just got mine and I'm so excited to see it making it's what into content!
incrível!!!! eu vou testar amanhã, sinto que agora eu entendi o movimento todo
How did it go?
Thank you! You’re so so cute ❤
Your officially my new favorite CZcamsr ❤ …. What are the things on the front of your skates? I just started skating on September 1st and I’m so determined to learn, I’m still in the falling stage 😂
Thank you. Great tutorial. Can you do one for the grapevine 😊
Hahha im still learning that onw myself. Might do a learn with me video so we can struggle together😂
😍
👍👍🤩🤩
I have those leggings in purple! They’re my favourite ones 🥰
Yeah love themmm!! Uncle Ali came through
Notes: do crossocers with your toes facing in (towards other foot) and your heel facing out (foot diagonal) and weight on your little toe. Remember to transfer weight to your back leg. When moving foot from underneath you can lightly tap your foot. Knees bent, start with a little push backwards
I thought I had this but when I take the pause out I loose momentum
Dee Thee Stallion 😍
Hahahaha if only I were tall
Thank you. Where did you get your skates from. I'm here in the U.S.
They are moonlight rollers, got them from their website
I’ve watched so many tutorials and I still can’t go backwards. I just stay in place or go forward
Plié (ballet move)
What skates do you use in this video?
Moonlight rollers sapphires:)
Are you in the 🇬🇧 UK
No im in the Netherlands, so closeby hahaha
How do I do this forward?
Try putting weight on your inside edge when you step. So weight towards big toe instead of little toe
My daughter could help improve ur crazy legs lol she taught herself
