That’s because most of these people aren’t in high school, and if they are in high school, they don’t listen to popular music.
The song came out a few months ago and blew up, I think it has like 100m views.
@@DukeDarkshadow A song started at the last “damn” it’s a thing you tell the crowd to say [insert word] I can’t hear you [crowd repeats word] and then he transitions the word into a song instead of him saying it. The song is called Just Wanna Rock by Lil Uzi Vert.
@@zumsiFinally someone coming through with the song, thank you!
People saying that the high schoolers were over hyped do not know that your average homecoming/prom DJs would play something like baby shark. So those high schoolers are incredibly grateful.
facts
And I’m the kid that would have been pumped for baby shark 😂 now that I’m 30, I get to annoy parents with it
@@BrookeDoesScience I have an Alexa and my dad plays baby shark from work to wake me up… SO ANNOYING! 😂😂

My dads been a DJ for at least 30 years but he REFUSES to do quinces or any event involving a bunch of teens. The requestsss always the requests and because they’re pretty tedious to plan 😩💀
Also don’t request Bad Bunny at Hispanic parties with DJ’s. I can give you a 70% guarantee that they will give you a look 💀😂
Edit: Damn y’all it was freaking joke there are literal memes about DJ’s and bad bunny 💀
Edit 2: I’m Hispanic yall ✌️😙🇲🇽 my dad is too.
Edit 3: the silence in the replies is so loud 💀
Edit 4: TO CLEAR THINGS UP! My dad does do quinces *occasionally*. For instance it’s my cousins quince today and he’s working the event because she’s family. 💀🤚
I mean, usually that just means they don’t like your music
I don’t blame him. Just a bunch of dumb kids. But hey, I’m 30 so maybe that’s why lol
@@NTLMBigBenchexactly 😂
They’re just brutally honest. Ppl just cant handle it lmao

“The requests always the requests” I agree

To people who didn’t understand

Crowd: “DAMNNNNN”
DJ: If your here to get lit tonight let me hear you say dammmmmn
Crowd: “DAMMMMN”
DJ: And if you go to Flat Ridge(Their high school) lemme hear you say
Uzi: DAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMN
OMG EPIC! THE GREATEST HIGH SCHOOL PROM DJ EVERRRRRR!!!!!
What song is it ?
Every time I hear the song from uzi and after I hear the dddaaaaaammmmmm I think of hearing Drake chime in with “ she’s in love with who I am , back in high school I use to bus it to the dance “
The song is I just wanna rock

as a high schooler, it’s embarrassing to be apart of the most judgmental generation ever
No worries, all generations of high schoolers were awkward, cringey, and judgemental. It was a weird hormonal time for all of us.
You're doing fine.
@@everetthancock2043 other generations kinda had the benefit of not having their lives broadcast in one-minute chunks via their cellphone for the entire world to judge them back haha
@@AwesometownUSA correct, Gen z mistakes are archived onto the Internet. They're facing pressures we never have. There's a lot of growing pains of the information age, and most all will be at the expense of our youth.
I'm 30, if that context helps explain my view
bro you’re not, this is how humans are and have been don’t let older people convince you otherwise
Teens have always been judgemental. Most of us grow out of it.
This song will forever hit
Now that was a clean transition with the audio
My high school DJ Rick rolled us😂
I just graduated this year and I have no clue what the heck is going on..
I repeated the video 5x. No idea what happen
He got the crowd to say “damn” if they were ready to dance, but after a couple times instead of them saying it he played the song which starts where the first line is “damn”
He started playing the song “I Just Wanna Rock” by Lil Uzi Vert, that’s about it.
