Los Tres Ojos - Geological Wonder of Santo Domingo

Located in Santo Domingo East, Parque Nacional Los Tres Ojos (Three Eyes Park) is a must-see for any nature lover visiting the area. At the bottom of this enormous sinkhole are three pools (Lago Azufre, Lago de las Damas, La Nevera) and a rope-drawn ferry that can transport you through the cavern to beautiful lake Zaramagullones. Natives once called this place "Bath of the Anaconda". The interesting geological wonders of this cave system proved to be an awesome outdoor adventure during my time travelling in the Dominican Republic!
