If everything going well I’ll build a Dartmoor Hornet Pro this year. It is almost looks the same as the Thunderbird but it is a hardtail.
What parts are you using?

I already bought a Fox Float 34 Rhythm, but I'll get a full SRAM NX Eagle DUB group set, DT Swiss E 1900 Spline wheelset, these are the main components but the stem, headset, bar etc. will be from Dartmoor. The frame is size L, the matte black one, I'm calling the build the "Stealth Hornet".
I like the sound that the tool makes, the ratchet and more,

4:42 Can you tell me, why the handlebar stem is flush with the fork stem? shouldn't the fork stem be 2-5mm lower?
We added a small spacer below the step upon realising this :)

@@piotrekkociuba5929 I've always done mine by pouring directly into the tire right before I finish getting the bead on - no mess.
We've tried all methods over the years and this is the most consistently clean way!
@@GeeMilner Makes sense. I use Stans Race sealant and it has some pretty big fibers in it which always gave me a hard time when using the syringe method

@@GeeMilner Lol, no such thing! But everyone has their preferences. To me, It's nice when you look over a bike and start noticing all the little details of what was customized.
@@GeeMilner Oh I meant to ask, where does one go to get their fork custom painted? I've go a similar color scheme on my bike. Though I have an all black Öhlins fork. I did get a decal kit for it. A custom paint job would be preme.

Is Dartmoor any good
They seem to have a huge following.
Dartmoor may not be popular in North America, but they've been slaying it in the Asian market.
Their most popular frames are the Primal and Hornet. 26player for the North American market.
Are they any good? - I personally find them better than Polygon across the board.
Durability:
At some point they've been using T-7005 Allu on their frames compared to the T-6061 on any other non-carbon bikes you see everywhere. For some reason, they stopped doing it when they released their Bluebird and Blackbird full-sus frames. The last time they used T-7005 was for the 2017 Dartmoor Wish frames.
T-7005 is the same kind of allu used on Banshee Rune V2 - it is supposed to be more durable than T-6061 on paper.

Really I was just wondering because I did buy their hornet pro frame a few months with no real knowledge about them other than, I wanted a 27.5 frame and didn't want to spend a small fortune or wait months because of backorders
