- The Tanix TX3 Mini is a popular Android TV box or media player that allows you to stream content on your television. It typically features an Amlogic S905W quad-core processor with a Mali-450 graphics processing unit. The device usually comes with 2GB or 4GB of RAM, along with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, respectively. Additionally, it has a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
The Tanix TX3 Mini supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for wireless internet connectivity and includes an Ethernet port for a wired internet connection. It features multiple USB ports, an HDMI output, and an AV port for connecting to your TV or other devices.
It runs a modified version of the Android operating system out of the box. But since Android TV is better many developers have ported Android TV-based custom ROMs for this device. Here I am showing you a guide to do this. For this, we will use Amlogic USB Burning Tool. With his same procedure you can install compatible rom on other S905W based devices such as X96 Mini.

Did you keep the device in recovery mode while connecting? If it still doesn't recognize, check your cable and port.
My tanix tx3 mini is a clone of the original. With the same processor s905w . Will this.method work?

If it's pre rooted it will have a super user appp install rashr or recovery flasher fund a amlogic s905 twrp recovery and by getting root acces boot to recovery or download mode

@@Mark_2GP Not sure. The generic bluetooth Android TV remotes might work on this system without any issue. But I haven’t tested them yet. But this remote that comes with the TX3 Mini is a infrared remote. So I am not sure if button mapper will work on this.
