The most powerful alliance in the world was the Allies in WW2, USSR, USA and Britain together were way more powerful. The only nation with powerful militaries in NATO are USA and France.

Edit - to add Sweden as well. Smaller nations might have smaller militaries now too but they are highly trained and are integrated into NATO as a whole, so you might as well count all nations in the alliance

Had to find some way to represent Sweden! They are part of the family, after all.
When you think about it; for many people during this time, music like this was the saving grace compared to the sabre rattling and sheer amounts of people and material faced towards each other. It's kind of fitting as I feel it harkens back to a time where NATO actually had significant power on the ground and sea, compared to today where it feels like it's all air focused.
TL;DR: arms buildup, return of compulsory national services for all sexes / genders, research & development all focused on weapons, technologies and military dual-use equipment.

As an American and New Yorker I grew up in the shadows of the twin towers and my dad, an immigrant from Ireland, worked on the contruction of those towers so I was deeply touched when NATO invoked article 5 for the first time and only time so far in its 70 year history. I am also a dual US/EU citizen and strong support of NATO, US and EU. Long live NATO, Slava Ukraine and welcome Finland and Sweden to the family. I support Ukraine joining NATO.

Let's thinking realistically. NATO never will to have a face-to-face war with Russia. It's a way to nuclear war and to the end of the humanity. They are doing war with Russia by another countries like Ukraine for now. If Russia will win this military conflict, it means that NATO influence would be replaced to middle asian countries or to Caucas countries. West world are stronger than Russia in some aspects so they're will continue the fighting to the win. I'm sorry for my not good english. I'm just from post-soviet country.
