What Neighborhoods in Vancouver are REALLY like

- In this video I'll tell you my HONEST TRUTH about the different neighbourhoods in Vancouver. I've lived in Vancouver my whole life, and I want to share my knowledge with anyone who's planning on moving here so you're more prepared!
Rather than looking at all of the specific neighbourhoods (which would make the video 1000 hours long), I've decided to go over the general 4 large chunks that the city is usually divided up into - Downtown Vancouver, West Vancouver, South Vancouver, and East Vancouver!
I go over the general "vibe" of each part of the city - whether it's noisy, family-friendly, bustling with nightclubs, etc. Of course, these are all my opinions based on my personal experience. Overall, I think that no matter what your interests are, there's a place for you in each of these parts of the city, and the city is what YOU make of it! I'm just one person on the internet, who, by the way, I think you should subscribe to. Hehe.

I've been watching your videos lately and this is really helpful because I'm heading to Vancouver soon!! Hopefully, I can find a good room for rent there:)
Nice Video Jess.
Great job on your descriptions!
I grew up in the East end doring the 60s and 70s, that's where every body wanted to be. We were the house band of the Italian Melody Restaurant, it was located on 2nd and Commercial, huge place, now a a music store or some, kitty corner from Fratelli Bakery.
Now everything and everyone is gone.
Enjoy the city the best you can.
Blessings from your God, and greetings from me, from my new neighborhood in Yucatan Mexico
Nice, wish I could've experienced it during the 60/70s! 😊
Love your videos
Thank you 😁
Me and my girlfriend are considering moving to Vancouver, we’re both from the west coast and Vancouver seems like the right fit for us but we are young adults and can’t find good housing. Is there any specific places in south or west Vancouver that would be a lot cheaper then downtown that you would recommend
big fan
Hi Jess! Where do you recommend for a single Uni student to live budget ranging from $500-1000 monthly?
❤Obrigado
Tell something about north vancouver .. would love that ... thank you in advance
north van is annoying roads and heath nuts
which neighbourhood is best for public school, lowest crime and family kid’s friendly
How about no neighborhoods. Packing up and moving to Saskatoon where they actually have sun!
Its not West Vancouver its called the West side of Vancouver.I know I live there.
I was raised in South East Vancouver, you know the part of town which no one recognizes as any specific area in Vancouver. The unknown. Areas of Killarney, Fraserview & Collingwood areas
Thats not west vancouver
Hipsters are hipsters. The word is not cringey.
You have a boyfriend? I’m moving down there in a few months.
vancouver downtown is actually uptown…go figure 🤪🤪
How about west Van and North Van, I watched a couple of moving advice videos but everyone just skips those 2 parts which actually happen to be the only 2 areas where I am interested to move to, because I am moving to Vancouver for mountains🥲
West side of Vancouver AKA rich side of Vancouver is not predominately white anymore. Lots of non white heritage live there who have driven out the traditional cultures by non affordable houseing prides.
