They usually have an opening on the side
Its amazing how adding a little bit of follow up with each takedown made them seem so much more violent. Just taking that extra moment to push the blade deeper or add another strike. (I think also the fact that the Enemies react a bit more helps; clutching at your arm as you stab then.)

The takedown from FC 5 were disappointing..but farcry 6 brought the nostalgia back.
It's great to see this gore takedowns again after Ubisht downgraded the hell out of it in Far Cry 5
There's also one where you can hijack enemy horse, i love that one. I did it by accident once.

Rdr2 is better in brutals. This game awesome take down but no blood on body, no gore, no blood pools. Look so bad

@@Brandon_Y. if you pay attention you’ll see that the blade is pretty blunt but has a hook so realistically its better for something like takedowns
I REALLY like that ledge takedown
One thing that I miss from 3 & 4 is how the camera shakes frantically as the character runs towards the target for the takedown. It added a level of speed and urgency. 5 & 6 just has a still camera as if your character is just floating towards targets and I absolutely hate it. Feels so unnatrual
At least they’re brutal like before they was starting to become pretty weak
True, but at least in this one the sheer brutality and sound of the kills kinda makes up for it.

@@UTSPR During a takedown, look at another enemy and press the right trigger. A button prompt should show up on the screen too.
@@UTSPR They still have chains but they have to be close together (obviously) and also you have to flick the controller to the soldado
I can't get the melee to trigger from above or during slide. Cant find tutirial or guide to assist. HELP!
You have to time the one from above really good to be right on top of them and the slide one I don't know about either.

Did they take out chain, pistol and knife takedowns?
Knife isn't there but for the others you need special gear
Wait actually thats just for gun but you can chain I've done it so many times and once you get the machete you get chains but enemies normally don't stay close obviously so sometimes it is hard to do them
How do you get that boost when you jump ?
Furioso it's a supremo you press x with it equuiped
Do you unlock the jump one or do you just jump on him

Are there sidearm takedowns in this game?
Yes but it requires prisoner cuffs a gear piece though pressing r2 allows for a throwing knife with that gear it does a quick shot

There is, but you need to have some specific gloves in use. Not quite a fan of this, to be honest.
It would've been better if they let us change the melee weapon like farcry5 tho.

You have to move it to the side when its about to be done
Jank. To much camera movement. The moves are to complicated for their own good. It's like they tried to copy Dooms glory kills but failed miserably

idk why but the female enemies kinda make this game unrealistic? Bcs usually dictators only have male guards and male politicians. But that doesn't mean i hate women okay
