Arma Reforger is insanely fun right now. WHERE ARMA 4???
reforger is enough - let modders do their job on this engine - most of people playing it on PC cry about performance [ their hardware isnt ready for reforger and you want arma4 ] reforger with alot of modds dont run great on high end PC with everything maxed out .

@@user-ve2jj1ik4b I’m sure it’s going to be a while before the release of Arma 4. I assume they are preparing to have everything right on reforger before moving on. There are obviously performance issues and times where you get kicked out of game. However, I think they made a big step by having crossplay on arma while supporting mods.
@@user-ve2jj1ik4b while not being perfectly optimized atm reforger runs like a dream compared to A3 for the simple fact that the enfusion engine is optimized for multicore cpu's, it is obviously more GPU demanding though, but that is to be expected when A3 is over a decade old
i mean hell the xbox can run reforger in performance mode at 60fps
what does matter a lot more is the performance of the actual server, when it's bad it really sucks

I think they're more than happy to provide a stable platform to make mods off of though. They're not the greatest with new additions famously. Leave it to the community on this one lol.

It is far from perfect :p most of the arma community is rather toxic like all online communities now sadly. Cant even make a call out without being told to shut the fuck up half the time by your own team 😂
armas built as a platform for mods they keep it simple so it’s easier for mods to stay compatible with the game
For now, they're definitely best off stickign to improving the foundation of the game.

-on the cobra you have a scope for the rockets if you press that middle "F".
-There is the Carl gustav as AT Launcher where you can carry multiple Rockets in your backpack.
-If you only have the "search" option on a body he is full dead, if you can "check injuries" on the body he is still alive(you can also see them breathing if they are only uncon).
-On BTR (and many scopes you can press Ctrl+middle mouse for night mode, on red dots your point wont be so super bright.
There are so many things but these are the first ones out of top of my head

Great video as always, i rarely leave comments but i told the squad community about having a stroke which im healthy by the way so it was odd that it happened but i couldnt use my hands hardly afterwards and have been doing my therapy and after a year i used my flight sim in arma last night and pulled it off, im so excited but i say this because i miss the squad community ,best players hands down and thats exactly why Squad is fun is because of all the players ,you guys deserve to hear that once a while,thank you for making gaming worth it, i cant wait to see you crazy bastards 😂💯❤️

I noticed a big difference in the weight of the helicopter in A3 vs Reforger. I dig it.
While in that BTR: 4 Mi-8 helicopters, 1 enemy BTR, 1 logi truck, 1 Tiger and probably one infantryman plus the infantryman he smoked on the way in. A single soldier on the ground wouldn't imagine being able to do that much damage in their wildest wet dream. Crazy.
Damn, I wish they would add attack helicopters to Squad.
They are too OP in squad. They have toyed with them in test servers and even in a couple modded servers, and the attack choppers were literally ridiculously powerful. They would come around and wipe out an entire offensive push in one strafe. I dsliked it very much. Im sure its fun for the dude flying, but for everyone else fighting against it, its a bit of a game killer. Cause there is ONLY Russian AA guns. There are no AA portable launchers. So we were basically defenseless against the attack choppers. It sounds like a good idea but it needs some SERIOUS balancing if they ever choose to officially put them in the game.
@@bakenbeans420 The UH-1Y CAS variant was added accidentally (allegedly) and as a result it had zero counters to it. Are you seriously implying that with a fully-realized addition of dedicated attack helicopters that they would be daft enough to implement zero counters to them? Come on man, use some logic.

Can you make a new graphics settings guide for the newest update? I got a 3060 12gb, Ryzen 5 5600 and 16gb of ram and yet i can barely run Squad for some reason. Everytime i join a game, it crashes. On training mode, it stutters really badly even if it shows that im getting 80 fps on medium graphics.
For some extra info, the crash text says "out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource...." Which i think is complete bollocks because i got 12gb of VRAM and i am sure it is enough to run the game
I use WASD to control the heli and use the mouse for finer movements when needed.
How much support will Arma Reforger still get , considering that it is kind of a tech demo for Arma 4?

I have to turn my draw distance way down, and It makes it too where I literally cannot see people shooting at me from long distance, cause their bodies just dont render. Its literally like bullets just spawning from nothing for me. But you can see the whole damn map! lol

imagine the mouse on top of the flight stick, want stick left? mouse left, want stick right? mouse right
You can disable mouse steering and just control it with the keyboard while looking around, makes it much more feasible.
Yeah I disabled mouse controls and do just fine with WASD
close air support by Squad logic is too op. Cant have it. That ZSU-23-4 would be qite something, in some other instances PLDvK vz.53/59 :D with gargantuan 30x210mm caliber. Not puny 30x173 o 30x165 :)

Lol squad is a lost game which is why I personally moved onto arma reforger, it's just a better game in many ways

if only this game was more optimized for people that don't have 40 series cards , those cobras give us like 30 fps when you shoot the rockets and they have like 3 of them flying at once haha it sucks but people still play even when they are getting under 60 frames

Regarding your very random death in the chopper. I saw some server admins the other day straight up using admin privilege to kill guys, so their friend could get the chopper. There was a HUGE argument over it in the main base lol JS I dont know if thats what happened to you, but it definitely happens on at least one of the Ukraine servers.

I bought Arma Reforger a couple days ago but asked for a refund. I tried to download some mods and then open a map as game master just to explore the map and I couldn't do it. I got errors with almost every mod I had just downloaded. I kept disabling mods and trying again to no avail. I don't want a game that is this janky. They need to get that shit sorted out before I'll buy.
unfortinately they ruined the game with the latest patch... i h ope they can fix it and the mods again, but right now we all stopped playing the game... missing content, missing servers.. its a shame
I think you may be just taking about the pc version, try on xbox and arma will be the worst game on xbox, big shout out to those unpaid people getting no respect and deus being lazy. 2 years and it's still broke as a joke on xbox, play one night if you lucky. 2 years and STILL cannot save load out??.. lazy rip off
Consider yourself lucky to be playing a milsim game with mod support on a console. It might be jank but that wasn’t even possible until this game. Not saying that makes up for it but personally I am not a fan of even having an Xbox port for games like Arma. It’s extra time devs have to spend to optimize for console hardware.
Most pilots are selfish who just want to use their rockets rather than putting the gunner in a good position to get kills
