Quelques images brutes du Spi Ouest France 2024 en catégorie IRC équipage.
Après deux premières journées passés au ponton pou réparer une casse du hauban tribord de dernière minute.
Deux jours de régate pour prendre ses marques et profiter du magnifique plan d'eau dans le but de préparer la saison IRC.
Au programme, du vent, de la pluie, du soleil, de magnifiques lumières et des gros grains venteux et pluvieux.

Someone please explain to me (I am not a racing sailor) - why starting at about @10:00, the boat with the reefed main overtakes (in a quickly absurd manner) the boat to the left that does not appear to have a reefed main? Otherwise sail plans seem similar. I got A's in physics in college. But now I feel like a fool.

Hi, it's just that the boats are not all the same size and therefore not all the same speed. Ours is bigger and faster than the boat on the left, even with a reef.
