I'm pretty sure the egg thing only applies to Bayverse, also Conjunx Endura
Technically in Animated as well, but not in the same sense. plus, Sari seems to be the only exception in that universe.

I just stumbled on this video, but im happy to see more people being interested in the world and setting of cybertronians.
Great job with the explanation! I love reading, so I know a lot about transformers lore, let me clarify as to why Cybertronian hatchlings are soft and plumpy:
While they're indeed synthetic, as they're robots, let's not forget that The Transformers as a whole is a science fiction franchise, and thus, comes with a lot of made up elements and concepts that make the stories, the worlds and creatures in said stories unique.
In the case of Cybertronians, they are not actually 100% synthetic, they're more like technorganics, as they're made out of a special metal that also posseses qualities of living organisms, such as growth (like how skin, bones, hair and nails do), self healing of small wounds (like how happens with organic beings), genetic code (DNA, of course). This living, special metal has received many names throughtout the years, but the most commonly known nowadays is Sentio Metallico. Sentio Metallico is extreme malleable and soft, and this, combined with the fact that it's "alive" (in the same sense organic flesh is, i mean) is what also gives Sentio Metallico the ability to shapeshift to adapt to their environment. In other words, Cybertronians are transformers because they are made of a sort of magical metal with the texture of clay/play-doh.
While growing, Cybertronians slowly develop a sort of "caparace" made of naturally hardened Sentio Metallico, just like how we are soft and plump as babies, but slowly become sturdier as we grow, as a natural protection measure. Nevertheless, Cybertronians don't actually lose that soft, jelly body. That's the "protoform" of Cybertronians, a sort of equivalent of their "real body", while their hard metal kibble exterior we all are familiar with is more like a permanent "armor".
However, be it noted that this last comparisons are not 1:1. While protoforms are indeed what we would consider the "real body" of a Cybertronian, once they become adults and acquire their first altmode, going around with only the unprotected protoform and no kibble would be like a human having no skin and only unprotected muscle tissue. Kibble, in turn, although it is indeed like "an armor", it also works as a natural part of the Cybertronians. They can feel touch and pain through kibble just like real skin, so it's not a separate part of them, but a part of their bodies.
That was pretty long, but i love both hearing others talk about Transformers _and_ also share any information about the franchise I think others would find interesting! And as you seem invested in Cybertronian's life cycle, i thought I could add to the theme✨

Okay, I'm a really big fan of transformers cyberverse and in the very last episode of the series The Perfect Decepticon, I remember the part when the autobots and decepticons were planning on how to defeat the super soldiers Grimlock said, "The young ones are eager to join in the fight." By the way he was referring to Slug, Snarl, Swoop, and Sludge so does that mean they're teenagers?

Fun fact they're just called energon sack the reason why they called energon sack they keep a little bit of energon that hatchlings need to survive and that you said there was a little bit true the eye color can be random sometimes but if there in autobot or decepticons base they will probably be having red eyes and blue eyes

The first time we saw a transformers baby is in the Bayverse 2, 3 and 5.
I don't rally watch Bayverse it has to much blood and sawring for me
I thought hatchlings were called sparklings (Mtmte comics mentions this in the xmas special, i.e with Whirl and the "sparkling". I belive it was mentioned more though, I can't give you what page or pannel it was. (It was somthing to do with anode's job)

I feel like for ages when 1-99 they are babies of that time till 100-999 which I think they'd be kids then 1000-9999 is when their teens and then older would I consider be adult and elders that's what I think for ages

Their about the height of a toddler, so like 2 feet or so.
In the case of minibots/minicons, they can be even small enough to hold in a human hand.

from eggs the all spark puts them in eggs or pods
