My dads a woodworker. His club makes toys every Christmas for kids. My daughter has a beautiful doll rocking bed. Such a neat skill.

You bet. I don’t comment much. But my parents moved to The Villages in 1995. So many great memories. Now I just have to decide if I retire there. Keep up the good work.
I don't like using public restrooms either but I always think that the cleanliness of the restrooms is an indication of how clean the kitchen is.
My goodness Jerry and Linda! We just missed you by a couple of weeks! Our lifestyle visit in the middle of last month (May 2023) was in Atwood, in the "Leland Stone" which is that green house on your right as you enter the cul-de-sac turnabout. That outhouse was there by the mailboxes then too. The villa was much larger and spacious than we thought it would be. Three Bedrooms, 2 baths and separate laundry room. All tile floor, and the Lanai was most excellent. We thought it was possible if we worked hard, to shrink down to that, we'll see. The Villages sales office really took care of us. We enjoyed our morning walks down to that Pond to watch the ducks, ducklings, and big white birds frolic there. Thanks for the free souvenir video tour of our lifestyle stay!
Jerry & Linda, this will remain a favorite show for us. We just spent a week at Atwood Bungalows on Lifestyle visit. We drove the golf cart on same trails you covered. Also over bridge at Brownwood to Richmond was lovely evening cruise. Yes these have Laundry rooms for washer dryer. 3 Bedrooms, screened sun patio, enclosed backyard. Surprisingly peaceful given proximity to Hotel and major road. Thanks to you we will have a home movie of our stay🤗

So, on our lifestyle visit I went out on a roundabout for cars over by Brownwood, people were cool and just let me have the road and I got off as fast as that little Yamaha could go! 🤪 Update, I did exactly what you did at that roundabout!

You two (and all the people you've interviewed) are helping us so much. We've already done one lifestyle visit although hubby ended up having emergency surgery while we were on our LS visit. We have decided to do another one this year and check out neighborhoods as you are showing us. I thought I wanted brand new but I am rethinking that idea!! We will see you when we get there!!

We live in a courtyard villa with a front load garage. We looked at the ones with side load and the garages are much smaller. Our washer and dryer are on the inside and in it’s own room with a utility sink. We love our Montclair Courtyard villa.

We stayed in the Atwood Bungalows on June! Amazing house it was the green house (Lake Iris) on the corner of Essex Dr by the pond view. You walk into the house from the garage and you can see directly out the lanai to the pond. That would be my forever home. But not at the price it would go for. Thanks for the golf car ride!

We stayed at cracked walnut when we came for our lifestyle visit. They are so nice! We are so glad that they finished repairing the road. Looks great!
we stayed at the Atwood two years ago at our first lifestyle visit, and we absolutely loved it. We plan on doing a second lifestyle visit next June and after that we’re getting real serious about moving down. See you when we get there.

We did our lifestyle visit (because of you two) last February and our house was in Atwood with a view of the pond you showed out our lanai. The American white pelicans on the pond were so entertaining I could have watched their antics and regiment all day between synchronized feeding and the lines formed to get into and out of the pond. It was a great first impression.
We LOVE the pelicans. You were lucky to see them as they're only here for two/three months or so.
You two have too much fun!

Good morning Jerry , Linda , Gizmo and happy Thursday. Oooo. Cart ride. Omg jerry. You hold it for 7 days? Such jokes. 😂😂😂. If some ppl don’t like the workers using the bathroom ; maybe the villages could have employee exterior restrooms with a key, fob or numerical access just for them. Could see their concern. They might be sweaty and dirty depending on the kind of work they are doing but they must relieve themselves too. Some of these carts are flying past and around uou. Oh. No sidewalks in this 1st neighborhood/small front yards/Washer dryer in the garage not desirable but lovely neighborhood indeed. This is what I admire about Florida; clean well maintained neighborhoods older or newer. I frequented Tampa, Clermont, Bradenton, Sarasota, Largo, Port St Lucie, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood and never saw an undesirable neighborhood. Well let me continue watching and enjoying cause I’ll be typing forever 😂. Thanks so much. Love cart rides. Have a wonderful weekend and see you mailbag Monday. 🤗

So loved seeing where we had our first LifeStyle Visit again. Our Bungalow lanai faced that lovely little pond and we enjoyed watching and hearing the birds. I think sitting out at breakfast the 2nd day is when Paul decided this was the place, because even though we could hear the train whistle 5 miles away, it was still so much more quiet than our home under a municipal airport flight path! 🙉 The bungalows have the washer and dryer inside (at least for the most part). No garage laundry for us. Rented a house that had them in garage...too hot.🥵 Whether you call them "golf cars" or "carts", we're sure glad we aren't the only ones making wrong turns😵💫! Just want to be able to correct before any mishaps 😵 I think this is the first time we have completely disagreed with you on an issue: NO construction workers in the neighborhood pool rest rooms. There is a grocery store and restaurants and gas station very nearby that they can use. You obviously have not had to use the facility or clean them after one of these workers has emptied their bowels and/or trashed the placed with muddy shoes. 😱 Yes, the Brownwood Sales Office is beautiful with the most wonderful Lobby Christmas tree.🌲 We enjoy Bluefin 🐟and practically all of the Square eating establishments.❤💌💙

Jerry and Linda came to visit me when I was on a life style visit in Atwood. The pond or as you referred to at the lake was right behind me. In the morning The sun would rise in the lanai. The birds would chirp and wake me up. It was magnificent day! Someday I’ll be there. it was close to Brownwood. Your video reminded me of how good of a time I had. Thanks 😂

We stayed at Atwood for our life style visit. The custard colored home across from the mail station. Great home with washer and dryer on the inside. Fall of 2026 we’ll be home owners. Great job Linda and Jerry.

Such fun! Yes, I do remember Larry the wandering alligator and that was the real issue. So off Larry went to a new safer for all home, and everyone was glad for him. Those bungalows are great but very pricy. Good looking neighborhoods.

We just left today from our lifestyle visit at Atwood!! It was so cool seeing our house on this video!! We were in a Winslow model 3 bedroom /2bath, laundry room and large beautiful lanai! And yes there is a pool at Alden, it’s forward just pass the house with the hot rod golf car(t)! You never passed it in your video!

We stayed in Atwood for our Lifestyle visit. They are very nice and the washer and dryer are inside. The garages are front load which gives you more room.
Wow! What a fun ride. It was great to see the neighborhood we stayed in. Our model in Atwood was very nice. They were re-paving the roads when we were there and I think that is why that porta-potty was there by the mailboxes. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. We were in the on you pointed out as being beige.

The easiest way to the two bungalow villa neighborhood behind Publix- the 2nd exit at the golf car roundabout - the 1st is for Eisenhower, the 2nd will take you to those 2 Villa neighborhood and then the 3rd takes you to Brownwood, of course.
Our lifestyle visit was in Atwood a view lot to that beautiful pond. We loved it!

Love love love these golfcart neighborhood tours. Maybe the homes with the cute names like the Sky View cottage, are the lifestyle villas and the ones with signs that say Betty and Barney Rubble are the residences that people live in?

We bought a used home in our retirement community, and the renovation team suggested moving our washer/dryer to the garage to create a larger kitchen. We said no way! Our new next door neighbor did let them move her w/d to the garage from a closet in the kitchen. I can't imagine doing laundry out there.

@@ninadukette3340 I lived in AZ for 6 years in the 90s (new construction home) and never saw that. I believe you, but the heat and bugs would be as bad there as in FL (except less humidity). I suppose it's less costly to put it outside.
