I somehow didn’t notice the Hawk is howling for years. When I bought it I was disappointed by this song. But it has become my favorite Mogwai song and it still is
Saw them at the Sydney Opera House a few years back. We had great seats right up close and the usher offered me earplugs on the way in which I refused in a dismissive fashion. Big mistake, ears were ringing for a week after. It was a spiritual experience.
An incendiary performance. Seen them twice live, they really are a spellbinding act. Oh and one more thing, the only band I saw who were louder was Motorhead !!!!! You have been warned !!
