My original went bad at only 48K miles, under warranty the company replaced with the Arnott junk... Words cannot describe how much these Arnott suck - the ride quality has decreased 2x, it rides MUCH stiffer and I can feel almost every bump, almost like a BMW.. Please, stay away from Arnott (unless you don't mind the ride quality) and get original.. I'm paying out of my pocket this time for the original which are about 3K both, but can't stand the ride of Arnotts

ARNOTT is bullshit, just good marketing but not good product. I used their strut before on my old car S430 and it leaked out completely after 2 months, and it wasn't that cheap either. I'd rather pay more for genuine Mercedes part than saving a little on junk like Arnott in the beginning but end up paying even more than paying for the genuine part at the end.

internal fault few month after replacing with Arnott strut. Never problem with oem strut that's 2 yrs old

I installed remanufactured parts as3237 and 3238, they are identical to the Mercedes OE.

Thanks for sharing this info with us, it is informative. I had to change the struts before and nowhere was information about the risk of changing notOEM parts.

Thanks for sharing as i have to change mine on cls63 amg W219 and Arnott front struts are $1835 each in Australia for the same money I can order Bilsteins from FCP euro. I have not seen one good review on Arnott and definitely don't want to put myself trough this stress of replacement.

I am having trouble removing the T-40 screw connected to the stabilizer link. Can you tell me please when you hold the nut with 18mm wrench and loosen the T-40 screw, do you turn the impact wrench to right or to left to get it out? I can't see clearly in the video, but I tried to see the movement of the device and I was guessing that it was turning to the right, but I want to make sure first, can you please respond to this question asap cuz I tried working on my car 2 times and couldn't deal with the T-40 screw. I even broke 2 of T-40 screw drivers in the process and I am beginning to think that I am turning the impact wrench the wrong way (left). I'd appreciate your help on this.
