both could stand to improve alot. Hutao HP should be higher. atleast 32k. Arle isnt even using her best set and her personal weapon def gives her atleast an extra 15-20% dmg increase. theyre close with this comparison but arle does seem to have a higher ceiling than Hutao does at similar investment. love both and have both

Her dmg increase from homa is around 5-10% . also hu tao N2CJ is slightly higher dps . also arle's dmg is low because of EM maybe make zhongli weak instructor in arle run to get a fair comparision .
It's not even close. At similar investment at c1, sig weapon, bis set, max talents arle will just be at a completely different level.

This is C1 Hu Tao vs C0 Arlecchino.
Hu tao has way more EM and can vape every CA. Arlecchino does not vape every hit. Hu Tao has maxed Talents while Arlecchino does not. Hu Tao has a better crit ratio. And Hu Tao has her BiS artifacts and weapon while Arlecchino has her second best set and third/fourth best weapon.
This is already in no way a fair comparison. And even so, Arlecchino is still only a few seconds behind.
C1 Arlecchino already beats c1 Hu Tao. It’s a flat 25% damage increase which is much bigger than Hu Tao’s c1. Changing nothing else, the equal constellation level would already put Arlecchino higher. Then there’s the talent level. And the best set. And the weapon. And the crit ratio.
The pyro queen is dead. Long live the pyro queen! (Jk they’re both still amazing, though I do see why Arlecchino is a tiny bit stronger with equal investment).
Yeah, Arlecchino has also a higher potential with further characters. Even none Vape teams are so good with her. Anyway HuTao will be forever my Pyro Queen, she carried me in so many Abyss 😊

i mean c1 hu tao is just for comfort, while c1 arle is for damage boost. not really a fair comparising since the c1 adds something entirely different

Arlecchino isn't using C1 or her signature weapon and not maxed out talents while as well having much less EM which matters vs the hydro enemy. Hu Tao surely got powercrept. by a lot.
never benched my c1 hutao and her homa for anyone but arlecchino. she’s way better and her talents are not even maxed 😮 definitely worth the upgrade ❤

Hu Tao is using crimson witch vs a boss she will vaporize every single charge attack. So that is giving her a significant damage boost that will not be present in most fights.
Use double hydro and every C/A will be a vape. Furina Yelan Bennett, never had any problems.

@@lusanao8489 She would still lost,I tested on local legend,both with their best team, 8/7/6 Arlecchino c0r1 . Hutao finished faster ,Arlecchino has her 2nd bis artifact which is only 5 percent less dmg increase compare to her bis
@@Asm0sday Its 10% worse and talent 8 to 10 is around 15% more for a total of 25% without even taking other things into consideration. So unless hutao was also handicapped this hard ur findings are worse than this video.
i love both characters but for 2 years i still didn't got Hu Tao so i want to get her plus i got at least everything on her when on Arlecchino i didn't finished Fontaine story and still completing Sumeru

I couldn't stress enough that sometimes the character doesn't do charged attack even after holding the atk button/left click.
You can deal 10% more dmg WITH less effort... For me, that's a great deal
One huge advantage too Arlecchino is her longer Pyro infusion while Hu Tao has an awkward like 3-5 secs of physical.

c1 vs c0 that makes arlechinno an instant winner
Being nice, solo can be considered a draw for both. but imo i'd give both solo and team to Arlecchino. solo because hu tao could have DPS loss due to execution and stamina management, depending on enemy (also hu tao would struggle solo vs multiple enemies). team because arlecchino can stand in healing/buff AoE, such as Diona's burst, Bennett's burst, Jean's burst, etc.

just a note that arlecchino talent isn't maxed out and she is using homa which is 25% weaker for her than the signature weapon. she is also c0.
Very bad comparison that is benefitting hutao by a lot. First, the thing in the disclaimer that arle talents are not maxed. Second arle isnt running her BIS set. Third Arlecchino isnt using her BIS weapon. Lastly, she isnt C1 as well. If you add all these up we have roughly +10% from bis, +15% from talents, +15% from R1 and +25% from C1 for a total of 65% more DPS that she could have. That doesnt even factor for the fact that Arle is much more team reliant than hutao.
Hutao mains be like: no its not fair , she is not on her full potential and the artifacts should be this and use her charge atk like that. 😂

Hutao has an em sands equipped...if you want their em to be similar just give the arle an em sands instead of an atk one (it will be less dmg)
hutao utilizes em much better than other pyro units because shes a CA based dmg dealer so she vapes every CA/plunge, arlechinno vapes every once every 3-4 hits therefore atk sands is just simply better

You just need to focus more on dodging. But you can also play her with another Shielder (Thoma, Layla, Diona, Kirara, Baizhou and so on, or Deyha)

C1 + Homa owner here, I don't think pulling Arlecchino is worth it for a new different playstyle and +10% more total damage, unless you really love the character, otherwise it is a bad investment.

Hu Tao was a bad investment
Arle is already a better investment then a c1 hu tao, mostly cause there equal in strength with hu tao at c1 and without maxed NA talents.
Arlecchinos Cons from 1 to 3 is a HUGE boost, meaning future investment is gonna be worth it.
Even then arles bond of life mechanic seems to be getting more attention so her power will only increase as natlan arrives.
