Σκόπελος το πιο πράσινο Ελληνικό νησί από ψηλά! - Skopelos the greenest Greek island from above!

Η Σκόπελος είναι το πιο πράσινο νησί στην Ελλάδα. Εδώ, όπου το πράσινο των πεύκων και των πυκνών δασών σμίγει με το βαθύ γαλάζιο της θάλασσας και του ουρανού δημιουργώντας μία εικόνα απαράμιλλης φυσικής ομορφιάς, ο επισκέπτης θα βρεθεί σε μια ειδυλλιακή γη, σε ένα μικρό παράδεισο στην καρδιά της Ελλάδας.
Το νησί της Σκοπέλου χαρακτηρίζεται από τα πυκνά δάση και το γαλάζιο της Θάλασσας, για αυτό και στις 5/7/97 ανακηρύχθηκε επίσημα ως πράσινο και γαλάζιο νησί από τον διεθνή οργανισμό Βιοπολιτικής.
Είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι το μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι της έκτασης του νησιού (άνω του 67 %) καλύπτεται από παρθένο πευκοδάσος. Ένα δάσος που όταν επισκεφτείτε τη Σκόπελο θα χρειαστεί και τη δική σας αγάπη, φροντίδα και προσοχή για να παραμείνει όπως είναι.
Η πόλη της Σκοπέλου επίσης έχει χαρακτηριστεί με προεδρικό διάταγμα από το 1978 ως παραδοσιακός οικισμός (19/10/78 προεδρικό διάταγμα 594, 13-11/78), κυρίως λόγω της αρχιτεκτονικής της , μείγμα διάφορων αρχιτεκτονικών ρυθμών , που δίνει μια αρχοντική όψη στην πρωτεύουσα του νησιού.
Η περιήγηση στο νησί της Σκοπέλου είναι γιορτή για τον επισκέπτη, όαση για εκείνον που γυρεύει την ομορφιά σε κάθε του βήμα. Η ιστορία είναι ζωντανή και γιορτάζει με το σήμερα και το πάντρεμα αυτό κάνει το νησί κάτι περισσότερο από έναν απλό τουριστικό προορισμό.
