- Three Trapped Tigers live at Barden's Boudoir 2010
In association with Different Class Radio
Three Trapped Tigers are an instrumental-ish outfit from London. They've released three EP's on Blood and Biscuits, and just finished touring in promotion of "EP3″, climaxing in a packed out show at the ICA on 29th April.
If you missed it you can get some guage of the blistering performance witnessed by watching this video recorded earlier this year by BeatCast at Barden's Boudoir.

10 years on and this is still one of the best live sets on CZcams
this drummer is a fucking animal. just whoa.
I agree! Just amazing
Yet more versatile and technical than Zach Hill.
I think I've just seen the best video on CZcams.
One of my favs too!
No the best video on CZcams is the version of "Pale Blue Dot" with the Mogwai backing track. But this is pretty good. Don't think I've ever seen anyone enjoying their work as much as Adam Betts does.

This drummer has such incredible stamina! Props.
I'm their biggest fan. I know the words to all their songs! 👊🏻
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
thats funny because they don't have any words
Me and my friend were baked watching this and he started crying during 6
haha after the first song ended i started clapping my hands because i forgot i wasn't actually there
Astoundingly good. What they get into about 9:05 really hit me watching this again. It's like seeing Aphex Twin or Squarepusher being played live on instruments (something I usually have trouble imagining). I'm impressed with all of them, but especially the drummer, Adam Betts. This is absolutely some of the best music being made today, and way more people need to know about this.
David Munson Check out Jojo Mayer's Nerve, they're an all live jungle/dnb band. I feel like you'll like them if you're into this, Squarepusher, and Aphex.
Drummer now plays for Squarepusher... just so you know ;-)
Saw this fantastic trio last night. Blown away by their phenomenal musicianship and composition. The drummer is just mental as well!
This recording is such a gem..
Wow. These gentlemen have been absolutely inspiring to my life. Thank you.
This is just plain amazing!
This is fucking perfect.
I wish I were able to see this live. The feels are to immense.
love these guys immensely saw them a few yrs ago going to see them end of april local to me in Milton Keynes..cannot wait!
I love it!
This is hands down the greatest thing I've EVER heard...
Fantastic, this band is incredible.
Amazing!!
Just moved to London from Chicago, and I'm so pumped that I'll get to see these guys live in the near future.
Still some of the best music in the world, probably ever
Thanks, I just started listening to you guys that day so I wasn't that familiar at the time, but I love this performance!
this is one of the best bands that i seen..ever!!!
whoooaaaaaaaaaaaa my jaw just touched the floor...... DAMN!!!!!!
Woow! amazing performance... !
Seeing these live with Dillinger in november will be phenomenal, can't wait!
Your music makes me feel more human.
just saw their manchester date, SO EXCITED
Awesome!
ok , they start with my fav , let's go.
Just one of those bands, that have never made a mistake live somehow
thank you i almost gave up on music
i agree 100% with this statement!
Hope you feel better about music lately. Maybe you should try Dnb (maybe starting with liquid first, "American Fruity" from Etherwood is truly good, or Rubix "Truth" (he is a newbie but really promising I think)), or Massane, Odesza, Fakear, Aurora, the Blaze, Sigur Ros, or "Tadow" de Masego & FKJ (French kiwi juice I think), or you also can check my playlists and maybe will you find some stuffs you can enjoy
Drummer is insane
izeea Adam Betts!!!! Check out his song called “Mirrors” from the album called Evil Ex. Soo heavy. And I believe the guitar player is Matt Calvert, another amazing artist.
he played for another band called Shobaleader one
Seeing these guys open for the deftones and thrice next week =)
when I seen the video of them with squarepusher had to check it wow!! bad dudes
im really starting to dig these guys.
yeah
HOLY S*&T! What just happened? LOVE, THAT's What it's all about
Please come to Japan.
Its un-fu**ing-believable!!!
I know. Damn!

saw these with dillinger last night
i was impressed to say the least
Also has Maybeshewill in support. Gonna be a killer gig.
Medley in D major!
the second song reminds me of squarepusher
Well... now they play with Squarepusher in Shobaleader One
@@juane.7628 Right on, i didn't know that was them
Come to brazil
Yup yup - they were all numerical at this point!
6, 3, 2, 1, 7, 4, 5, 8
Adam Betts
your band is destructively tasty! Thank you for this music, good sir :)
Feeling the bag of mushrooms I didn't take....
I can't even describe my jealousy. This would've been incredible to watch live.
3 very bad boys
come to argentina!
Well this is awesome. If anyone asks you to play Barrow or Ulverston in the near future please say yes.
mad scientist at the lab concocting some serious shit!!!
I was at this gig. Tall ships then three trapped tigers, and I think all for about £4.50
14:00 Gets me every fucking time! :D
+Robert Nettleship Wow. The band are amazing but that drummer's a machine!
I want to see The Samuel Jackson Five gig with them.
Adventure time soundtrack
These guys are the real deal. At least future music to sound like this is awesome than the shit today that is pop toned to a form
20:45 WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's the auxiliary snare to the right of the hi-hat please? I've been looking for one just like that and with that very sound!
sorry started counting meant 6 and 3
17:19
In which way is that Roland SP404SX being used, is he triggering those live hits and applying effects?
the name of the band can be "three fucking awesome trapped tigers"
Dude, get along to Arc Tan Gent festival at the end of August.
tripping balls
67don't know after that but those are the best songs anyway hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Does anyone have the titles of the songs?
Freakin awesome band (although, I wish they had a real singer). I totally love the fusion of genres and wondering from chilled to thrashing. This drummer is BAD ASS! Anyone have a guess what gear he's using to live sample 15:26? Maybe a Boss SP-303?
+MidnightHabit i see an SP404 but I can't see any other gear down next to it.
what's the name of the piano song at 57:50
all of their songs are titled with a number corresponding to the order it appears on their EPs, which are also numbered. So like the songs on EP 1 are titled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...
Adam Betts and some other guys
A lot of the drums were written by John Calvert in a computer and then Betts learn it. And Tom compose really
good melodies. They are all amazing.
Psyco Naut sure yes, but it was mr. B. who invented computers and taught humanity how to compose music, you cant deny that.
Shit! You are right... I can't :v
don't pull that subscribe button over the controls crap, that's not going to make anyone want to support your page
+Infinitychip Do you have any music?
***** I can queef it even better.
that person talking in the audience during the early songs is really annoying
It would cool if the synth guy and the microphones went away and were replaced by a bass player.
