Simple Book Page Wreath Tutorial
Vložit
- čas přidán 6. 08. 2024
- Learn to create this gorgeous shabby chic book page wreath with items you probably already have on hand! I used poster board for my wreath form, but I suggest using cardboard or foamboard to glue your book page pieces to. It will be much sturdier. This easy project can be completed in an afternoon. I hope you'll give it a try!

This is my very first video, so it’s pretty special to me and I hope you enjoy it. Come back next Friday evening for more crafty inspiration. Thank you for watching!
I am starting from here, your very first video, and I am going to view them ALL because your channel is one of my favourites!!! Greetings from Italy!!!
@@AnastasiaML4 hello from sunny Florida! I’m glad you’re here and enjoying my crafting tutorials. Thank you so much for watching!
Just discovered you. Can't wait to make this wreath. We're retired. Husband's health not the best. Looking for simple, frugal, easy, fun arts and crafts. This site looks right up my alley!
I’m glad you enjoyed the wreath Anne, and hope you have fun creating one for yourself! I like to use items I have around the house for thrifty crafting supplies. Sending thoughts and prayers for your husband’s health!
@@kindashabby TY🥰
Thank you so much, it’s looks beautiful and yes, probably a cardboard or little more of hard paper for the back…but other then that! It’s beautiful 💖💖💖
Thank you so much Rosaelina! I still have the wreath hanging in my bedroom. This project was my very first CZcams video. I definitely would do a more sturdy back if I make another one. Learn from my mistakes! 😀
@@kindashabby that’s amazing it’s really last that long. Thank you for letting me know I love how it’s came out! Thank you again 🍂🙋♀️🍂
You did a fantastic job!!
Hi Lanie, and thank you!
Love this wreath! Unbelievably inexpensive.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial, Sarah! Thank you for watching.
Love The Reef
Thank you so much Avelina! I have it hanging in my bedroom and I still love it.
It’s so pretty and it doesn’t look cheap. If you put it in a shop to sell with no explanation of what it’s made of or how I bet somebody would spend some money on it just simply because it’s so obvious what it is but some ppl can’t rationalize that it’s some book pages, lol. Love it. 😀❤️
Thanks Debbie! I have it hanging in my bedroom and just love how it turned out. It really does look more expensive than just some book pages cut and glued to poster board.
It sure does
Enjoy your site and crafts
Thank you so much Jean! I hope you have a great week!
Bonne idée 🤗😌🥰
This wreath is simply beautiful & just my style! I'm a new subby & can't wait to see what you will share with us! Right now I am going to binge watch all of your old videos. TYFS...👍👍👍
Thank you, CamiRose! I’m so glad you’re here and enjoying my videos!
This was great! Can't wait until next week!!
The bow tutorial is so fun! See you next week!
I really want to make this wreath. I struggle with making a wreath that looks good, this one I think I can make. Thank you so much.
Although it’s a bit time consuming, it does turn out really pretty. Happy Crafting!
At least you supplied the idea of a paper wreath. Thank you 😊
This was my very first project on my channel, and I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Your channel popped up in my list and I'm so glad it did! I've wanted to make one of these for some time and you've inspired me to get it done.
Thank you for your kind words, Martha! I know yours will be beautiful!
Always going to make this but always put it off but I am making yours now !
You will love how it turns out Jean! It’s a bit time consuming but looks beautiful when completed!
Great idea, thank you for sharing.
Thank you Sarah; I’m glad you like it!
Absolutely beautiful!!
I love your style of teaching! My only disappointment is with your sound. It is not picked up very well. I have to turn my device's volume up to its maximum just to hear you when you are any distance from your camera or microphone. I don't want to miss a thing! Please check into this for me. Possibly others are experiencing this problem as well. I really get sound blasted when a commercial comes on!! Thank you! Love your channel!
@@diannewillesden4267 Thank you! I’m working on sound quality issues. Don’t want you to miss anything! 😀
Wow! You are a natural. You sound and look great right out of the gate! Never would have guessed it was your first video. You must have done something similar? I love the wreath, and have enough books and magazines to do an entire room like this, much less a few wreaths. Wonder how a colored magazine page will turn out? Have gardening and decorating magazines all the way back since the 70's. TFS
Thank you Serena; you are too kind! I grew up singing in church with my sisters, which made me comfortable in front of people. I’m also a former music teacher, which helps me take the “big picture concept” and break it down into smaller, more manageable instructions. Colored pages would probably look just as nice! I have magazines that are decades old, but none from the 70s. I appreciate you watching all my videos!
This was amazing!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful. I will make one.❣️
Thank you for watching! I’m sure your wreath will be just beautiful!
This is one of the best Wreaths
I've seen which has been home made . It is so affordable too! Great idea which I will happily add to my Christmas must do list!! Thank you so much. XXB
I’m glad you liked this wreath! It was my very first video on CZcams and I know you’ll have as much fun making it as I did. Happy Crafting!

Thank you Karen! This was my very first CZcams video, so it’s pretty special to me!
Hey there! The wreath is beautiful. I am going to use a wire wreath form covered in burlap ribbon. That should be very sturdy .
Hello Melba! That should definitely be sturdy. Thankfully the jumbo craft sticks saved my creation! I still have the wreath hanging in my bedroom above the mantle; I just love it.
@@kindashabby , we do what we have to do to make it work💖
Wow it turned out beautiful! Can you show how you made the bow please? Thank you! Only just found your channel and have subscribed! Tfs 😊xx

I've burned myself from hot glue one too many times and I love your finger protectors. Where did you get yours? The wreath is gorgeous!
Oh and I love how you sign off your videos!
I bought them from Amazon and saved my poor fingertips! I still have the wreath hanging up and love it. I’m glad you’re here and enjoying my channel, thank you for watching!

Dziekuje ci!
I love your ideas.
I realized measurements for supplies will be different depending on the size of project I chose to make but I'd please like to know total page size after it's cut 4.5 X ? for this particular size wreath.
Thank you
Hi Fathe! I’m sorry for the long delay in responding but I’ve had family in town for the holidays. My page size after cutting is 4.5x5.75. Thank you so much for watching and have a Happy New Year!
use thicker cardboard from box, more stability
Thank you for your inspiration
I truly appreciate you watching and commenting Tracey! This was my very first video on CZcams and I’m glad you enjoyed my first recorded project!
beautiful thanks for sharing. you measured the pages at 4.5 but how big was the book. was it 4.5 square?
Hi MJ, I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial! This was my very first CZcams video and I appreciate you watching. My book was 5-1/2 wide by 9-1/4 tall, and I cut my paper pieces at 5-1/2 wide and 4-1/2 tall to form the wreath. Thanks again for watching!
oh my thanks so much for getting back so quickly. I am loving all your stuff. I watched a few in a row. thank you for doing them.
@@mjcamper426 thank you so much! I enjoy making these craft tutorials and it makes me happy that you like them. I have a new video coming up tomorrow morning at 9 am eastern time. Have a great weekend!
I loved how it turned out. I can't wait to try this, but I think I will try foam board instead of poster board. Lol
Thank you, Renya! That poster board was nearly a disaster. Large craft sticks to the rescue! 😃
😃👍👍👍🥰
Thank you Rose Marie!
Thanks for the tutorial!! What type of glue gun do you have or recommend to purchase? Mine is a cheap $5 one and I’m hoping to get a higher quality one 😁 thanks!
Thank you Andrea, I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial! I use the KeLDE fine tip dual temp glue gun from Amazon.

@@kindashabby amazing, thank you so much!!
You’re so welcome!
Beautiful
All you have to do is glue that into piece of cardboard or two pieces just like you did with the pink and green paper and it’s nice and sturdy. You don’t need those sticks after that I’ve done reef just like this and I still have them after 10 years.
Thank you Iris! I will certainly use a more sturdy material when I make the next one. Cardboard is a great option.
Since you have a CZcams channel. Im surprised you would have any unfinished projects. Me Im just keeping peeps in job security with my non existent projects I buy items for. Im really a craft sucker
Hi Joyce! Having a channel has been so helpful in getting projects completed these days. I have to restock frequently used items, but I’m really trying to use up supplies I’ve had lying around for years! Thank you for watching and have a great day!
How therapeutic...
It really is a relaxing process!
Where did you get your window the wreath is hanging on?????
Hi Marly! I found this beautiful window at an antique store about 30 years ago. I just love it!
Where did you get the finger protectors?
I found them on Amazon!
@@kindashabby thank you
could one use foam board?
Oh yes ma’am! Definitely better than what I used! 😂
What are the measurements of each paper 41/2 x what?
Hi Jeannine! For the book I used, the paper is 4-1/2 X 5-3/4. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!
Just use a thick foam board next time, it's so much easier.
You’re right Donna; foam board would have been a much better choice for this project! Thank you for watching!
Hola bonito traducir porfa
Gracias Martha!
Yeah recycle some cardboard for this instead but you can fix your floppsies with 4 more of those sticks overlapping the other ones that you already attached
Yes ma’am; I certainly learned what not to use as a backer 😂. You’re right: cardboard or some other sturdy material would have been a better choice. Thank you for watching Victoria!
SORRY.... cant hear you!
