When Saitama is standing in front of Jupiter, the swirls behind him look like their making his own aura, similar to Garou’s but much larger, further emphasising the difference in strength.

@Rorozorro so who knows Saitamas power? You or him? Keeping in mind I can fight at full power with one hand as can you or anyone, it’s just a handicap. Saitama could literally say “this is my limit, you’re stronger than me” then die to an opponent and you guys would still say he’s stronger than them.
Fun fact: the Serious Table Flip move Saitama did in this chapter was also done in the original webcomic by One. However, it was done on Earth and small scale. The plot was pretty simple in the original. I really appreciate the level of insanity they’re doing here.

If anyone was wondering or even shocked at how strong Saitama is, remember he punched a hole through Sea King, stopped the sky from raining, and split clouds. Him scaring Blast with his power is not surprising to me.
Blast isnt scared of his power, blast was surprised there was someone else who could withstand the radiation and he was concerned about the safety of the earth

I think Blast is surprise because theres someone beside him on Earth that can fight a being blessed with " god ". After this arc I think we will meet other universal heroes like Blast , and they will recruit Saitama.

I know that blast was on defensive due to Earth but still as if he had immense energy as saitama he could have just warped garou somewhere distant and finished him there when the first time using those portals.

What I want to note is how Saitama goes "Even I can do something like that", implying that he doesn't see himself (and the ability to attack in every single direction simultaneously) as all that impressive. It really juxtaposes Saitama's worldview for the first time in our eyes because to him, he's not a real hero. Unlike all of the fallen, beaten, unconscious heroes who stood in the way of the Monster Association at risk of their lives, he's just some guy with no instinct. This is one of the few moments where we're properly capable of exploring just how Saitama thinks beyond his overwhelming apathy. He doesn't see himself as that impressive, because even with all of his strength he still wasn't able to save someone he cherishes because he's always too late.

If you think about it, considering light is a photon, the massive amount of energy may have destroyed all the incoming photon, instead of the implied destruction of all the stars in that direction.
My thoughts exactly. I don’t doubt that they have to power to kill stars at this point but to kill thousands of stars in an instant while being millions of light years away is unlikely. It’s more likely they diverted the light from those stars away or something.

What stood out weirdly to me is the eye of jupiter, if taken literally as an "eye", this could be a stretch, but at 10:02 i think it is expressing joy as garou throws punches at saitama and at 10:33 it seems incredibly surprised at how saitama wrecks the moon

This is possibly a very important detail as it relates back to Chapter 132 Pages 16-17 or somewhere around there. According to the translation I've read, Psykos says "It [God] even resembled the surface of Jupiter". She then goes on saying how the mysterious entity looked into her and felt a flow of energy and a sense of enlightenment all at the same time.

I don't normally theorycraft, but I suspect that Metal Knight is a member of Blast's team, acting as their Scientist. He may have retrieved Boros's body and revived him so they could recruit him in the fight against God.
This has to be one of the best if not the best action/ battle sequence I've ever seen. From build up to art this is a masterpiece. The visuals, attacks and Serious Punch², and especially Saitama's bloodlust were badass. Saitama grabbing a portal was probably one of the coolest things. This was a fantastic chapter

He can copy anything, and while his power is truly immense, it is still limited. He can only copy power to the limit of the power that was given to him.
4:20 It is, if following physic, more likely, that the punch delivered a shockwave of power extensive to the level of photons, pushing and maybe erasing all light in the path of the punch. The light travelling from those stars and likely galaxies actually, are extinguished here. If and when that blast reach the stars, the too will likely be annihilated.
To visualize it, think of light as a stream of water toward you and Saitama just punched that stream away, leaving nothing but darkness.
You are almost correct. The energy released in the blast, created interference with the light from the stars. If there is enough energy in the shock wave when it arrives at the stars, then the shock wave would exert pressure onto the star. Depending on the star, it would either lose size from mater being blown away or explode from mater being blown away.
Annihilation, in physics is usually reserved for cancelation/removal of energy/matter. This process releases energy as well, so we would be able to observe that. Most likely, this would cause a giant bright spot not a black spot.

Even though scientifically if a star disappears off the face of the Earth, it's light still reaches us and can be observable for several more years after its disappearance. But I like to think that the energy was so strong that it just obliterated all the photons of light that were heading to Earth.

When he grabbed the worm hole it is very clear that Saitama's power isn't actually strength, its his plot device...he basically is as powerful as he needs to be...even if there were no rocks to jump off from, he would still have a way to move himself
My pet theory is that Saitama can do anything he thinks he can do. Anything at all, whether it makes any sense or not.
If he thinks he can hold his breath in a vacuum _after_ being punched to the moon by Boros (that wouldn't actually work in reality), then he can. If he thinks he can grab and move portals or kick them away (which has nothing to do with strength and is just Toonforce-level reality warping), he can. If he thinks he can inexplicably emerge from within a portal his opponent just created, he can.
If I'm right, then the only thing really holding him back from total omnipotence (at least so far) is his own belief that he has limits.

To actually destroy all those stars, and not have light come back, is possible. It'd mean the force created was so great it literally destroyed virtually every single photon by the creation of essentially atoms. The movement of electrons is responsible for both the creation and destruction of the photons, and that’s the case for a lot of light production and absorption. An electron moving in a strong magnetic field will generate photons just from its acceleration.
Similarly, when a photon of the right wavelength strikes an atom, it disappears and imparts all its energy too, kicking the electron into a new energy level. A new photon is created and emitted when the electron falls back into its original position. The absorption and emission are responsible for the unique spectrum of light each type of atom or molecule has, which is a major way chemists, physicists, and astronomers identify chemical substances.

I honestly hope that he did NOT destroy all those stars, because that would not only make HIM very powerful, but also Garou. Additionally, that means Blast with his team could REDIRECT THIS MUCH POWER without much effort. So either
1) Blast is not a lot weaker than Saitama (which is weird) + Garou could tank this punch/Saitama was trying to kill him,
or 2) this blow didn't punch a hole through the galaxy, and instead did something with the light coming from this direction. Or warped the fabric of spacetime. Or something idk
I personally very much prefer the second option.
(also Bootes void does not look like this, because it's, you know, shapeless, and not a fucking cone of nothing stretching from our own galaxy)

That wouldn't make sense to be honest, what I was essentially trying to say that the downplayers of one punch man are quiet after seeing a feat, that no one was expecting, the whole "planetary level" controversy is now done.

This makes me wonder if he can grab Hyperspace Portals and all that I think he could simply counter Gojo's Infinity Barrier he puts around himself like Saitama simply believes he can touch him and then he can. I mean he is grabbing holes in space and not focused on breathing and can somehow talk in the vacuum of space because he either isn't thinking about it or believes he can. They did say Saitama can manipulate the energy of the universe to do anything so it's possible he can just ignore barriers of people who can't manipulate the universe.

here’s a bit of science lesson: jupiter is 588 million km away from earth, light travels at 300k km per second, meaning light would take roughly 32 minutes to get from Earth to jupiter’s moon Io… yet Saitama’s and Garo’s clash sent them flying at nearly 2 THOUSAND times that UNINTENTIONALLY 💀. And that’s at their CLOSEST points. At jupiter’s farthest it’s 968million KM, meaning it’d take light 53 minutes to get there, while their clash sent them there over 3 thousand times that speed (over light), whether you lowball it to their closest point or highball it to their farthest, it’s an impressive feat regardless

The greatest attack he still has shown thus far is still the Serious Punch, which Boros has faced and commented as such. Even Garou said that Saitama's strength is limitless, meaning he does not believe that that is all there is to Saitama, so he has to continuously try and copy whatever Saitama sends his way. Furthermore, Saitama is massively-MASIVELY moving faster than light, as the omnidirectional-punch that he executed wasn't actually after images, because you don't create afterimages once you move at the speed of light. Only Garou was confused by this. The very same Garou who moves at MTFL and reacts at MTFL. In addition, Saitama still hasn't taken any damage thus far. Don't confuse the last panel as him shedding blood, as that is just debris. We can see the same drawing from Garou, but Garou doesn't shed blood in his Monster form.
His strength is not limitless. It’s potential is, but his set strength. His current top, is able to be measured. It has been said that while Saitama has broken his limiter, he has become the strongest being on earth, and thus can not grow in strength unless fighting someone at least slightly under him. He is no longer working, and thus hit a limit never before discovered. He can’t get stronger because those around him are too weak.

I'd like to point out that Io is around 390 million miles from Earth. Moving at light speed, it would've taken about 45 minutes to get there. They got there in what looked like less than a minute.
So assuming they were there right as we saw the panel of all the stars and galaxies destroyed, we could say they were there in a second or less.

To those who said Saitama wasn't even Star level by feats I present 1 half of a feat that destroyed at very least several stars and at most a portion of the universe.
He also did it in an instant. Usually an attack like that would take several lightyears to reach those stars and would have lost their power but even at that distance he destroyed them like they were nothing. Not only is he powerful but he did it in several thousand times faster than light speed now. He is limitless though so doesn't surprise me.

When we look into space, not every light source we see is a star. If only a few stars had disappeared, it would be impossible for such a large void to exist. The impact of Saitama's fist hitting objects millions of light-years away in a matter of seconds indicates that Saitama has the power to destroy hundreds of galaxies and even the universe in which he lives, faster than the speed of light. The closest star to our earth after the Sun is 4.3 light years away. Considering that the impact of Saitama's fist destroyed objects millions of light-years away in a matter of seconds, it would be unreasonable to deny that Saitama's serious fist destroyed hundreds of galaxies. I don't think any stars or galaxias were destroyed. Simply the incoming light of those stars was... or at least pushed out of the way so that we see a void. Because that would have so many implications about Garo. That would mean that Garo can now all of a sudden dish out and tank galaxy busting attacks and come out unscathed. A power level of 1.44e+50 is bound to destroy entire galaxies and create a huge hole in the universe, just saying.

Goku is very capable of destroying the Universe let alone a galaxy. He just won't. That being said. Goku has the power to match should he need it. Saitama also wouldn't intentionally destroy a Universe either. In this chapter however, he did not destroy any stars or galaxies. He did however obliterate the light photons coming from said stars.

When you see SS God (red hair) fight Bearus, they were creating waves that went throughout the universe threatening to destroy everything with every punch landed. This was in an uncontrolled state. Goku has advanced well beyond that point with SSGSS (blue hair) then SSGSS/Kioken then to ultra instinct and finally to a new version Goku made himself where he merged his saiyajin anger traits with ultra instinct making it his own rather than an angelic trait so he doesn't have to be burdened with a calm heart and mind... pretty sure Goku could hold his own against saitama. Not saying he would win just that he could definitely hold his own. Its definitely a fight i would love to see. power scales man they are a bitch!

It would be difficult to top this fight in terms of power, so I don't think a stronger enemy will be appearing. I mean, they're destroying whatever celestial body they happen to be standing on whenever they clash. Unless you want Blast on hand at all times to warp Saitama and his opponent through space, then he can't fight anyone stronger than Garou.

There's 2 ways to interpret the blackness in the sky. Since it's absolute blackness as far as we can tell (no visible distant galaxies) it could be an obstruction like an enormous black hole. Or it somehow traveled backwards in time and wiped out everything in that direction, retroactively preventing the light from being emitted.
I mean, aside from the obvious "screw physics, it's cool" interpretation.
The Serious Table Flip is jaw dropping visually. It was probably intended to make no sense physically as part of the comedic aspect, but it has just that slight air of plausibility to the way it propagates that is breathtakingly terrifying. It's nowhere near the level of energy of the dark spot in the sky implies, but it feels deeply terrifying.

Part you failed to understand and present properly- Saitama punch squared erased from existence, in an instant, everything in that direction and range. Across the entire universe. Obliterating countless planets, stars, solar systems, galaxies. Anything and everything in that direction is gone. Not a single spec of light. And as someone else mentioned, even the incoming photons from the destroyed stars and galaxies would have been destroyed, hence why there is no light at all.
And had not 4 reality warpers intervened to make the all around explosion into a beam, it would have actually destroyed the entire universe.
